With the Tuner in a 2" x 3" box, there was a 10" x 10" box with a lot of paper inside. My husband has yet to use the tuner. I will update the review when he has used it. I like the design and the idea. When the HZ display is flashing, higher or lower octaves of the harmonics of the actual pitch are displayed. There are certain guitars that it works better on than It was poor on the Jeroen Hilhorst grand concert of 2019, ok on the Robert Ruck cedar/brazilian of 2013, and much better on Lowden's O50 of 2014. Based on the similarity of resonance on the headstock, it is apparent that the differences are due to that. It's easy to use and well constructed, but its HZ sensor needs to be more sensitive. If you just intend to use the tuner for general tuning without using its HZ function, then it's okay however, it falls short on the accuracy the HZ function claims.

There was a time close to three years ago when this happened. Snark worked with the built-in tuner in my guitar that I was using at the time. There are no differences between the two. In addition to using an app, I also use one from time to time. Snark tunes true right out of the box, in my opinion! A broken bottle broke my old one, so I needed to get a new one. I have no idea Had a good bounce before he dropped Purchasing this new tuner and it is just as good as my original. I prefer using this device over the built in tuner because I can adjust the snark to fit my needs. A great starter for new guitar players. I am sure experienced guitarists use it too. The solution works well and is simple. I have only one complaint, it has to bounce better. I guess I'm just fine with that. Well, you just can't have it all!.
