Questions & Answers

Please contact me if you are a violinist. Can we rely on it?

In fact, it is very reliable and it clips to the scroll A problem with all Snarks (I own about half a dozen for various instruments) is the little ball-on-stalk system. There is a ball at each end of the stalk in a socket on the back of the tuner and on There is a little plastic tab on each of these sockets that can be broken very easily if you're
The one on the back of the tuner itself is typically the one to break easily of the two-joint sockets. *br>However, the tuner will read chords if your double-bass chords have a strong key signature. The stops are accurate, and read fast enough to be able to look at your intonation while playing, at least on slow

How do the SN-based degrees differ from each other The eight and the What's the difference between 2 tuners?

There's one guitar and two bass guitars I want a bass with a snare The following instruments are available for purchase This song has five guitars, one bass, and one keyboard In honor of Viloin, Sn- A ukulele tuner with 6 settings, SN Instrument tuners with tighter grips on all 8 instruments

There is a SN in the world I have 8. Please advise if this will work What do you think about 2?

As a result of According to industry reports, Windows 8 should be brighter, easier to read, and faster than Windows 7. There may be truth in what you say, but I'm not certain. The guitar tuner was a great product I purchased for my 13 year old son who is a beginner guitar player. He easily tuned his guitar without any problems. It was a recommendation by his teacher to use the Snark brand. The SN was actually examined by me But, at the time, the service wasn't available via Google Prime or SNS I bought it since it was only $8.

This tune sounds like a trombone, doesn't it?

As far as I'm concerned, the other answers are correct. It has been a long time since I played a stringed instrument He is an instrument player (violin, mandolin, octave mandolin, banjo) and he works on each of them. Because it detects vibrations, it can be attached anywhere on an instrument that you can see it. Other than the lip of the bell, I would think the middle of the instrument would be a good place for it to be attached.

Tuner who does a great job Here's what you need to know if you've been scared by the reports of breakage! A tuner this good, accurate, and easy to use has never been available before
5/5

Several of my instruments are homemade and I play them regularly Snarks are almost as many as I bought so they can "live" on all There are three of the 8, one of 1 and one of 2. Several others come to mind, but I can't recall them. You should check them out! They're amazing! I have never found a better tuner in almost 25 years of playing -- it works on acoustics, electrics, basses, mandolin, banjo, and even my lap steel guitar (although I have to clip it onto the volume knob). In the end, the ball & the puck did not go together There might be a problem with the socket. There have been 2 occasions when this happened to me, and yes, it can be frustrating. If there's no reason for it to be a 5 star rating, why is it? There's no need to buy any more superglue since the issue can be fixed with a drop. The 2 that broke cannot swivel any longer, but what is the matter? To angle the face in the appropriate direction, I simply angled the glue before setting. Metals would be perfect for Snark's creations, but we don't know that yet You can make them for $40 each or they could make them inexpensive, easily repairable, and very durable Using the application is simple. think the price I paid for mine was fair. I have no clue how people could pay up to $10 for one. Don't expect them to last long when you pay $15 for a tuner. Now, to the guy who claimed that these devices are now "worthless junk” because they have lost their value, I have to concur. If you're willing to sell me your broken ones, I'll pay you $2 each and start using them immediately after I get them!.

This item is not durable and it may have been damaged or returned by the seller
3/5

There appears to be a problem with the product being shipped by the seller. I ordered the Snark SN-52 In the case of the 8 tuner, it arrived with a broken socket which snaps onto the clamping part of the tuner right out of the box. This should be done before you even attempt to assemble it. It wasn't a big deal, I got a replacement and returned the first. As soon as the replacement arrived, the problem remained the same. A refund is on the way. There are two things I can deduce from this. Due to the fragility of the tuner and the seller's policy to ship previously damaged or returned products, this tuner will not hold up to use. Snark tuners are my favorite, but I must be seeing cheaper models these days. I've bought at least 5 in the past, and they've held up just fine. Please be careful when buying a clip-on tuner, I'll buy another one.

A two-bedroom apartment for a great price There are more than 30 packs available For my ukuleles, I use it all the time
5/5

These Snark SN-02s came in a pack of two The Ukuleles I own are tuned with eight Super Tight tuners. A tuner that clips on the headstock and can be stored in the case is what I needed for my multiple ukes. When I use this tuner, I find the sweet spot on each string with great ease. I like how bright it is, and it works perfectly. It's great that the metronome is included as well. The feature that I like the most is the transpose tuning ability, which can be adjusted to whatever fret I am using I find that feature very useful. In addition to this, there is another great reason why this is such an easy and convenient tuner, since one simple click of the yellow button can turn it on, and another simple push turns it off. Nothing is held down or the display has to be heated up for a long period of time. There's just no other way to describe it. If I need more of these then I wouldn't hesitate to get them. My Firefly soprano banjolele and KoAloha Concert uke both use the clip I have one on each for now. We are very happy with their service.

Defaults to breaking every single time
3/5

Snark tuners have served me well for five or six years. It's a great thing to have them around. A fatal flaw prevented this plan from becoming a reality. Always, they break the tabs that hold the tuner head to the arm of the keyboard. I always do. There's no skill involved whatsoever. You only have to press the tuner in the wrong direction a little too far. Now there is nothing left of the thing, as the tab is gone. I did, indeed, be careful with this one, but it was broken almost immediately as soon as I took it out of the box. A plastic is used that is not suitable and/or the design is flawed. I beg of you, Snark, to fix this. Up until then, there will be no more. The competitor I'm thinking of trying is yours. The Snarks will always be better than yet another broken one, no matter how bad they are.

It is easy to crack cheap plastic because it is brittle
3/5

The tuners are quite nice. I've got four of them. Snarks break when you move them to modify the viewing angle due to brittle plastic over time. I used to have them mounted on the headstocks of my guitars, but they broke when I moved them over time. It was not my fault if I dropped There was no looseness on my part. I did not have them Since I did not travel with them, I was not able to provide them with any information. As part of my gig gear, I have a rack tuner. They were all recorded on my guitars at home. My home studio is climate controlled to ensure that my guitar is at the perfect humidity level. Unlike a dry room, this one does NOT have a ceiling. Although they are great tuners, they become brittle as time goes on.

A defect was found at the time of the My system broke immediately the first time I tried to use this device as well as a Snark Htz tuner
3/5

first time I tried to adjust the angle on both tuners, I snapped off the plastic part that connected the turner to the clip. When it happened to the other one I realized it had to be a design flaw. When it happened to the first one, I thought it was my fault. It was possible for me to get the HTZ super tight tuner working again by supergluing the piece and wrapping a cloth around the broken piece and the other parts, but the product is unusable and in need of repair. Now that I've installed the Htz tuner and tuned it, I'm overwhelmed by the amount of work it took to get it working.

The tuner I love the most
5/5

I really like the way it is! It is the tone and not the clip that matters. My style of play is micromanagement based, which is why I stop everything to monitor the game The B string in my guitar needs tuning. Tuners can take a long time to work if they are not in good condition. Nevertheless, this is a very fast and sharp machine. While no one else can hear it, I keep hearing the slightest of flats which bug my ears, Definitely recommend the device. Its battery saving feature is a game changer, and I utilize its transpose feature frequently. I found it to be very helpful. The clip might be able to hold a bit tighter if it were a little stronger. This thing would make me a little uneasy if I jumped around with it on my headstock, but for normal movements and playing it would be fine. In addition to my two acoustic guitars, I have two ukuleles, and one electric guitar that I use all the time. I'm definitely going to buy one more once I have my bass. i know that snark has a problem with ball joints snapping, but it has yet to happen to mine. so far, these have been one of my favorite tools, and certainly one of my favorite tuners. *edit *6 months later, one of the two broke at the ball joint, as expected, and I lost the other one. I still love them and bought two more because I still can't let them go. In exchange for the luxury of a better more durable joint, I would rather pay a little extra for snark to produce one. As long as I still have tuners to buy twice a year, I'll keep doing it.
