Questions & Answers

Is it possible to tune an autoharp with it?

Tuning anything with thick strings, such as a bass guitar, is not compatible with this version. There is also a version specifically made for string instruments with thick strings.

Is it possible to tune any musical instrument with strings? Do we have the option to set the musical notes we want? Is it possible to set the order of the musical notes?

This device can be used to tune any stringed instrument except for bass guitars. According to my understanding, the company is currently working on updating the firmware to allow the targeting of

What should I do if I want to tune my cello with this?

It's too bad. Cellos have been frictionless for years. This cannot be done with the Roadie tuner because pegs are measured in decimal.

How well does it work on a 12-string acoustic/electric guitar Could you specify the type of guitar you like?

So far I have not tested it using a 12 string guitar. Input of the 12 strings was done through the on-line application. Obviously, I can't say for sure, but from the looks of things, it seems that it does. A roadie has a number of features, such as open tunings and the like.

Very handy to use, a little clunky, but it's disappointing
4/5

Here are some good things to start with. Can it really be said to be an automatic tuner that is worth the effort? In short, yes. The original release of the track did not contain the tune Choosing the up alternative. As soon as the firmware was updated it was added. You did a great job there. Although I can't think of a good reason to disable accurate tuning or tune-up, I didn't really see the point of disabling them. There are several modes of operation available. As an alternative, I would suggest you try to get as close to that as you can It's super fast to tune. Point is, automatic tuners are not accurate, and this is the biggest complaint against them. There is absolutely no doubt that this thing is extremely accurate- I will discuss some of the issues in the following paragraphs. As far as the device itself is concerned, it is of excellent quality and It's very easy to navigate. In addition, the battery life of the device seems to be pretty good, although many of my comments are also related to it. Thank you so much for sending me My first reaction is to wonder why so many devices still have micro USB ports The previous version was USB, so I'm glad this It was easy and accurate to tune all of the above (for the most part a couple of This 4-foot-long device is clunky to use since it was designed to house a camera If I am trying to hit left and right, my way button will register down or up. The problem is that it can be really irritating. With my crippled thumb, it might be too sensitive or I might just be clumsy. Honestly, I don't dislike it too much, it's just an inconvenience. Having your tuning on the device is problematic. There are so many to choose from. I expected a lot more of the mobile app, but it falls short of my expectations. It's a real pity there is no app support for computers. On my M1 arm mac, I can't even launch the iPad app, it crashes. I would be thrilled if M1 support were available. The app is designed only to allow users to easily type names and re-type them A list of tunings is organized. Update firmware is required, which is definitely something you'll want to do once you've got the tune-up Choosing the up alternative. As far as syncing apps goes, it's a bit weird. The font had a different color to the other part of the piano when it was broken - at one point it was broken on the tuner. In place of red, use white. A flash of light appeared on the screen as it did not let me select it. It was impossible for me to delete it from the instrument. My phone ended up being reset to its factory settings. I appreciate the ability to order tunings this way so that the ones used most should occupy the higher positions. However, why can't you organize your list by instrument? It seems that the app lacks so much. I really felt let down by the app because there is no computer support. I didn't understand why they would not provide this service. had hoped for an app I could easily add instruments and modify tunings by simply typing everything in and uploading to the device. I found the app tries to do that, but it's really lacking- I had to use a mouse and slide to add the instruments. A sauce is. The app left me feeling very disappointed. Are you sure it is a 500mAh Is that true? What's the biggest they could fit in that dinky thing? According to the website, you can get 150 tunings from a single It seems that the battery life is adequate, although I would certainly bring a It's just a bit surprising that such a tiny battery could last so long. The following is a funny The damn tuner looks exactly like the electronic cigarette that I use in my medicine cabinet. Honestly, we're very alike, it's kind of My guitar is going to blow thick clouds out the sound hole soon, and I'm sure I'm going to eat a lot of potato chips with my vape box mounted on a tuning peg. However, if I accidentally try to take a drag out of my tuner, I might be able to sing better, will that not? I found it kind of comical that they went with the "vape box" form factor. The guitar is pretty easy to play, even with my almost-impaired left hand.

There are a few small issues with the 12-string acoustic, however. I know you can play that string high G. Everything seemed to be working fine - A standard tuning would be good. That ultra-thin technology may not be as good as it sounds There was something flaky with the little #9 string, so it did not vibrate enough. The first time I tried it, it did not work I am full-time Follow these steps When downtuning, it just could not tune to that high a G (F4 in this instance). The string broke as expected, since it is a high G string. It's true that things break all the time when they're manually tuned, so it's not surprising that we snapped the string on our third attempt to use it on the twelve-string. I don't see any cons here It was a challenge to come up with the one not in the textbook An instrument that is standard. It is also known as the It is a diatonic instrument with three strings. Imagine a mini/skinny backpacker dulcimer (same as McNally designed). This one is a little strange. While I got the tunings in there and they are working, there was some confusion on my part when it came to A3 and A4 as well as There is a potential for many broken strings to occur, because sometimes it throws the tuning knob around awfully fast and hard. I don't like that at all. If necessary, the start should be more gradual/gentle and speed up as it goes. **** - As a whole- I consider this to be the best automatic tuner ever produced. This string winder has very high accuracy and is very fast. Having left thumb and fingers that barely function enough to play guitar, and not very well, is a blessing to me, a handicapped guitarist with left hand weakness. It has always been a real struggle for me to use tuning pegs with my near-sightedness Since I have a useless thumb, I've had my son tune my guitars and replace my strings for the past two years. I've been in the industry for more than five It's now much easier for me to tune my own car. As soon as I can play in alternate tunings, I will do so. It has always been so tedious to tune the car that I rarely have ever done it. The more instruments you have, the harder it is to keep track of them. It may also occur if there is a lot of string replacement involved. Alternate tunings are good if you use them. Your career will require you to be a guitar tech, a luthier, or There is no way I could live without it. You need to notify the police if you are
Well, if you have a guitar and stick to standard tuning for the majority of the time, you might not need a tuner. That thing is amazing. I am beyond glad I got it. Ideally, I would prefer that it would not be so clunky in its interface, the input pad wasn't so sensitive, and it should not feel like an unfinished What I would like is to have the device connected to my computer so that I could get a CSV or something that I could You are creating a yaml file. The XML format. No matter what you want to call it. Trying to find something that is easy to become involved in. As I wish you could organize your instruments the way you do tunings, I really wish I could. The tuner itself, though? Finally, there is a good automatic tuner on the market. Kicking butt is the tuner's specialty. Your purchase is probably not going to be regrettable. There is no doubt in my mind that this roadie 3 tuner is a great product. As of now, I'm very satisfied with it. Let's see how it holds up over time.

The system works great! If you have a six-inch device, check to make sure it works I loved it when I attempted it on a mandolin and a banjo, but I really fell in love with it when I tried it on strings and string guitar
5/5

My music instruments are both difficult to tune, and I have never gotten them just right. In no time at all, this Roadie 3 tuned both of them, and for the first time ever, I can play the banjo with what feels like an accurate tuning. They are simple to tune, and they stay tuned in The following information is being disclosed There was a roadie 2 that I did not like No matter how hard we tried, it never worked. I was hesitant to purchase the Roadie 3 because of this. The experience I have been having with it has been so wonderful that I wanted to share it with anyone else who is considering it. You'll be glad you paid for it. A free item did not accompany this endorsement, nor did anything else get handed to me. I am very happy with my.

A simple to use interface A majority of what you wrote is The pros are Using it has never been easier
4/5

I like the way you are able to change tuning, add instruments, etc. It has a very The tune is fast even when it's set to "accurate". The cons are There is a problem with the alignment Make sure every string is in tune. When it comes to keeping things in balance, I am very particular Consequently, this does not produce consistently good results The strings on my acoustic are always out of tune, even when I put it in I play unique chords with an almost perfect harmony, but it's not there, which is noticeable in some of the chords I There are times when it tries to do micromanagement Once you have made the adjustments, it spins up a little, but only enough to touch the tuning key (not turn it), then it says it is In summary, it is a rather nice product. Would love to see it improved for When players are playing simple chords, the accuracy will work for them.

He can tune string instruments with the touch of a button! In a nutshell, It is the 3rd version of the Roadie Tuner and very well made! It matches super fast with the Roadie app (although you can plug your guitar directly into the tuner without the app) and then you can start tuning your instruments
5/5

As a result of how quickly each string was tuned, you can check the video. It was an overall very good experience! As well, the app is very well designed, and my dad had even remembered the guitar brand and model he had set with his old This is a great product!.

This has been updated to 5 The best! 3
5/5

(It was a 3) A new update! Following a firmware update which added the option of "TUNE UP" (in which the final tune is always attained while tightening each string rather than tightening or loosening), accuracy of the instrument has greatly improved. The star has been changed to a 5 This star. I want to thank all I'm sorry, ---- The Original Review is as follows Bag with a variety of items. You can easily switch to another tuning with it. I must add. I am not even close to being accurate enough, as a TUNER. It works on "accuracy" mode even when the speed is turned off. need to go back and revise A more accurate tuning is to tune them Additionally, it may loosen the strings at the end of the melody. There is no correct way to tune, since each string must attain final tune as you TIGHTEN, or else it will drift all over the place. I need to be a lot more precise.

This needs to be done immediately. The alternative tunings are just a stepping stone for you to get into the realm of alternate tunings.

For guitarists, this is a must-have
5/5

There are more than one guitars in my possession. As a matter of fact, I was amazed that this device was the only one that was capable of tuning my Martin guitar made in the USA. My tuning device had issues no matter what tuning device I used. Now, no matter what cord I play, WIERD HARMONICS NO LONGER AFFECT ME. Within a minute or two, it fixes the guitars' pitches to perfection. It's wonderful, and I'm sure you will enjoy it,.

I find this product very good for the price
4/5

It's not bad for the price. It's not quite as precise as my plug-in tuner (Petersen) It is still much more portable, though. This is an excellent item in general. You may not be able to get the same accuracy every time. On the other hand, you shouldn't solely rely on a timer for success. In the end, it is your ears that matter. It is the winding feature that I enjoy. Ideal for changing string lengths.
