Despite never having used it on a trumpet, I believe it could work because of the clip on mic that it has. It would probably be clipped to the bell of the horn if I played trumpet.

Despite its ease of use, vibration microphones come in handy in noisy environments
5/5

i bought it for a son who plays in a His iPhone was used to tune the instrument, but it was difficult when there were so many different instruments playing around him as well as not as convenient (cell phone usage in class is not permitted, so he was unsure whether as well as having his cell phone out). In order to maintain a tune in his instrument case, he requested a tuner. It seemed best to go with the Korg models because the reviews were good, the price was reasonable, and they were compact enough to The one that came with the microphone was what I bought for a whim. The microphone is a vibration sensor, not a sound sensor, which we didn't realize for quite some time The piano sounds aren't being detected by the device. Oh my gosh. There must be a clip and a vibrating sensor! It's so obvious! It would be a great addition to a horn, but I am not sure that it would be useful for piano, or any other smaller instruments who's strings do not have a good place to attach the clip. It is now possible for him to tune even while he has multiple instruments playing around. In addition to that, he has started using the metronome since it is right there (since he was too lazy to get the mechanical pendulum model from another room). Despite being not too loud, Meterome can be heard clearly enough to provide useful information. I love the backlight as well. Despite this, I wish there were a manual to accompany it. I had to download the midi file from the Korg web site, but otherwise it has been a great purchase.

Tuning a piano is not recommended
3/5

It's only one star because the microphone stopped working within 30 minutes of using it. Nonetheless, I might have given the book two stars if it was not for that. In the lowest two octaves and in the highest two octaves of the piano I was tuning, the instrument did not pick up notes. Despite paying money for the service, I expected a better experience than the free app I had been using. Instead, I was extremely disappointed with the service. I also found it very difficult to read the display without the backlight on and without staring at it directly.

From the start and all the way to the end, it should be mandatory
5/5

It has been many years since Korg became the brand to buy. A remarkably accurate and easy to use tuning fork helps you to see precisely when you are in tune or flat. This allows for very quick reactions and helps you to continually train your brain As I was getting in tune before playing, I thought I would use it for that purpose. keep the machine running the whole time I play and I find it really helpful for training your ear and intonation as you play all the When you hear a B flat middle, you may be out of tune when you're hearing a B flat low. Additionally, a metronome is a great tool for self-training. My performance will improve as a result of all of this. Having played trumpet for many years. In order to be in the sweet spot for each note, it is essential to adjust your embouchure constantly. This is achieved by using the Korg as biofeedback. This is from. Anyone can benefit from buying this, whether they are beginners or professionals.

Compared to most other small digitals, this one has better resolution

The tuner is a critical part of my kit since I am the principal oboe for our local symphony orchestra. Having lost my (really, really old) Korg, I got this and it is fantastic. He had a big, heavy mechanical meter that was very heavy. It consists of the following components There are many factors that make 60 preferable, and it's Its mic sensitivity is better, the measurement is more responsive, and the clip-on feature is easier to use I was surprised at how well it works on the mic. There is not much volume on the metronome, so it is a little iffy. As far as ensembles are concerned, it will not be useful. The old-technology tuner excelled in very small pitch deviations, but that is the only area where it was better. In a way, it is like a fake digital meter that is a little sticky. I have noticed that if I get to within 2 cents of tuning A, it appears to snap to 0 and lock on to it regardless of intentional When I used the old mechanical meter, I could do my vibrato practice and note what actual pitch shift I was doing. Due to the fact that the meter needle hangs at 0 instead of moving over a small range, that is not possible with this system. As a result of trying a few competing units owned by my friends, this seems to be the best of this breed of inexpensive, small.

Meter I know of is even more useful when you have a clip-on as well You can hear me on the microphone
5/5

The Korg tuner I own is by far the best one I own, but I also have other tuners (I like to keep a tuner beside every instrument I own) and I think this one is the best one by far! With the clip on the side of the meter, this incredibly accurate meter became easier to use it in a noisy auditorium The microphone is on. I'll delete the clip - When tuning an acoustic stringed instrument on the mic, it can be cumbersome When the meter is being used in a noisy environment, the instrument must be held close to the instrument's sound hole. Many tuners can be easily mounted on the instrument, but I have found that their accuracy simply does not measure up to that of The Korg instruments have a large moving needle- like a compass Using this display and flat, sharp LEDs to enable effortless, accurate tuning, cent markings appear to look like a clock display. In addition to double stringed instruments, such as a mandolin and 12 string guitar, these tuners are terrific for getting into perfect tune far easier than they were with other tuners I had used before. My plan is to purchase additional clips when I realize what a good system this is Those are the mics I have on my other Korgs.

The product is good
5/5

This was a replacement of an older one for which the pickup had failed. There was an issue with the up wire. This tuner is a little bigger and has more features in comparison to the others Obtain a more readable version of the text. Only thing that I disliked about it was that it didn't come with a magnet attachment like my older phone. When tuning my harp, I found it very helpful to be able to attach it to my metal music stand. The delivery was extremely fast, and I appreciate it very much.

It is easy to use because of the LED
5/5

It's great that there's a contact microphone available! this, I relied on a round chromatic tuner from which you had to blow. Afterwards, I moved on to apps for cell phones. In this case, tuning an autoharp, ukulele, guitar, or flugelhorn has never been easier and the contact microphone makes it very convenient. Having Red and Green LED lights for tuning makes the process incredibly easy. Also, it is nice to have the panel light This LED tuner is even nicer than before and makes a nicer use of the battery without quickly exhausting it. Neither of us have used the metronome, but it seems like a nice feature to have. Earlier Korg tuners, I was thinking a model 30, had an AA battery that lasted for maybe 7 years (or longer) This Ukulele was found stored inside a Ukulele case and it was still functional. As expected, the battery had not corroded and was still fully functional at the end of all these years. So we looked into getting ourselves a Korg tuner.
