Questions & Answers

In what way are x5 and x7 different?

I am not sure where the differences lie. Even so, I know it is simple and it is not the best in the world I really like it! As it's numbered, so for those who are not tech savvy it tells you e string 1, b string 2, etc. Among its features are guitar, chromo, bass, high F#, and so on There are other settings as well. This is a part of my guitar that I never remove. X7 seems to have more options than most of the others, does it not? The shirt I have is my favorite. I do not believe you can go wrong either way. I know that, but that's the way I am.

How does it work with ukuleles?

Hey there, yes, there's an option called "Ukulele" which you can choose from or you can also use the Chromatic mode "C.". The following is a quote from Brian I'm playing guitar*

Calibrating the instrument how should it be done? Which number should I use for Is the 'cent' displayed on the screen an indication of value? Is that a short form of ?

A tuning of 440 is considered standard for guitars (at least in the United States). Some songs do require an alternate tuning, however. The 'cent' is equal to Semitone Number 1) of a semitone. In guitar, a semi tone equals one fret. So if you move up a semitone, that means you move up a fret as well. This may be of some help to you.

Can you tell me how long the battery lasts? How many hours/times can it be used?

My name is *br>Juliann* and thank you so much In the 5- to 10-year range The use of the product should last for six hours. Once the unit is charged, you can simply use the USB cable that comes with it to charge it. The following is a quote from Brian I'm playing guitar*

I like it
4/5

I say, however. Getting rid of my old Boss tuner (that was 20 years old) led me to purchase this digital tuner. Overall, I would rate this unit a good but not great one it There is sometimes a slight difference in the way a string is plucked. Even if there is only a shift of 1 or 2 hertz, this registers on the device. Now, this may simply be down to the fact that my Boss unit was not as sensitive, but it is something As for the real beauty of a review, I guess the question "Would you buy it again?" would be the one that answers the true worth of it. I would say this is a good value for the money and I would buy it again if I was a campfire/hobby musician.

I am disappointed
3/5

When I received the tuning device, it had a battery attached, but the device didn't It seems I'll have to buy another battery, but that's not likely to be a big issue. There's a problem in that the battery isn't what you would typically find, so I'll have to look for a place where it's available. I have not been able to use the tuner on my guitar so far. What a disappointment! Furthermore, the instructions are so tiny that I had to use a magnifying glass to make sure they could be read. Again, we're out of luck!.

The system works fine, but it may be a little buggy
4/5

No damage was noticed upon arrival of the unit. I found it worked fine, but I found the viewing angles to be extremely limited. The display does not have to be turned just right, but if it is not then there is a lot of screen bleed so that it is difficult to see precisely what is displayed. I believe this is true at least for the unit I have. (E is supposed to be on the display. ) Overall, I am pleased with the I would recommend as soon as you are aware that the display is not working correctly. I wish you luck if you decide to try it.

The difference is so clear that I don't need my glasses to see it
5/5

Tuner is one of my favorite devices. Several ukuleles I bought have been given to me by friends and family. With any of them I cannot see a darn thing. It was such an exciting moment when I unwrapped this tuner. Having tuned my ukulele myself, I'm now capable of playing it. Every time I want to play, I won't hear old grumpy HUBBY huff and puff around like a crazy old bear. Having to look up from that hate filled computer is the only way to get out of it. It's my pleasure to tune my Having this beautiful instrument for my soul is an expression of my preference for beautiful music. My soul is soothed and inspired, and I can do it on my own. My first impression of this product was that it would be much nicer and easier to operate than I expected. This is a good buy. This is something you must have.

It is finally possible to have a clip on that works without The only thing you have to do to use a clip on tuner has been to use those horrid coin batteries (would you believe more than two dozen in 2 Is it possible for a device to live for such a short time? AAA batteries in a container other than a battery pack are another option There is no convenient way to use a clip on tuner, as it requires either a clip on mic cord or a microphone mounted on the tuner
3/5

A tuner has a rechargeable USB battery! This technology has matured and works well, which is great news! There is much to be positive about The technique is workable with any ukulele, even those with lowered G strings. It is possible for the ukulele to be tuned with relative string tuning or with individual strings. When connected to the 5th and 6th, it works ok It seems to have the right pitch for the 6th string on a classical guitar. Using and reading the form is very intuitive and simple. There's nothing pretty about this However, it's not so straightforward when it comes to the first 3 guitar strings. tune the 6th string using the tuner and then tune the rest of the strings using relative tuning, that works with my mic tuner, but not with the one I'm using now. Due to some unforeseen reason, it works slightly better when used in the chromatic mode than when used in the guitar mode. Since the only difference, I believe, is the display of the string number, not the string itself. In this tuner's opinion, the strings on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th are too high when tuning from the 4th string I am working on the 6th string. Due to the strings being too low, the relative tuning would be lost if I tuned all the strings with this tuner. It is not the guitar, though, since I can do it using my old mic tuner. In conclusion the strings are fine for ukuleles Perhaps not a major problem with drums or other instruments, but a real problem with nylon stringed guitars. I may be asking too much for such a low price. Still, I'd rather pay $10 more to get one that I can use on my guitar better. As a result, I only use it on the ukulele. It is true, though, that most people won't notice a It is true that I.

It was difficult for me to believe that a battery could be recharged
5/5

Although it has a rather small display, that is more than compensated for by the excellent quality. I assume the charge will last a long time since I only use it for a few seconds at a time as I tune.

I have tested it against two other brands I own and so far it is accurate. It remains the case, although even more precise. In order to get around these problems, I carry an external, USB battery pack (the size of a Chapstick). In the event that I mess up, at least I can power it up again. As long as you think about it ahead of time, it is usually straightforward. I was very pleased with the customer service and the quality of the product. They arrived on time. Thanks so much.

AUTOHARPS AND LYRES ARE BEST FIT FOR THIS SIZE
5/5

I could not find any other tuner with jaws that opened wide enough to allow me to clip on to the edge of the autoharp and lyre (one and three-eighth inches), it had all the good qualities of the best clip tuner! WORKS WITH MY FAVORITE INSTRUMENTS AND IS ON TUNERS! If the strings ar new and stretching and hard to keep in tune, the tuners with jaws that only open wide enough to fit the top of the headstock are really frantic, difficult to use, and hard to read.

The difference between this tuner and others is subtle, but significant
4/5

Let's be honest, we all have clips - Throughout the years, I have tuned a lot of machines. You are like me, you have One is already enough, so why get another one? The differences between this tuner and other tuners are subtle, but compelling. Frequency indicator does more than just determine how sharp or flat a note is, it shows the actual frequency the string has been tuned to, and also the distance the note is from the theoretical frequency by a continuum of the "frequency pointer" related to the note's actual I find that this feature makes it a lot harder to blow by a string that is almost right from a psychological standpoint. My stack of pointers is long, so in the event that I'm 5 cents off, I have a lot of points. Compared it with the Korg Chromatic Tuner. (What a BEAST. That's what I mean! As far as accuracy is concerned, it performed quite well. I got a second for one of my boys due to its great qualities!.
