A few months ago, I went on a mission to find the perfect slide, and now I have about 25 of them in a drawer. Whenever I go down the Rock Slide, I always go down the slide. For me, the material, weight, and size are the right fit. This guitar has a finger cutaway that's a great plus for.
As much as I love the sound it makes on my dobro, it's really good looking. One of my friends loved it so much that he gifted it to me. The brass is very thick walled and very good quality, so I was very sorry to have to part with it. Finding a brass slide that feels good is still on my to-do list.
Love these, I have a glass rock slide as well, but these have that extra groove on the middle finger that I do not have on the glass rock slide. It is one of the ring fingers I use. There is no such feature on the glass device. I think it's the brass that makes it seem higher end, at least to me that's the case.
fantastic there is a great balance between all of the brightness and detail that comes from a steel slide and the warmth and quiet control that comes from a glass or ceramic slide.
The slide is great, and the features are great, too While the cutaway works well, the outer edges are too sharp, so they need to be relieved (easy to do). I got a cologne whose ID is only 19 mm, not the specs' 21 mm. The following are 5 to 10 It is about 20mm in diameter.
The sound is great, however I was surprised at how heavy it is. In any case, I have a lot of large fingers, so the slide fitted just right.
