This time around, my guess about the size was accurate, and the results are satisfying. As a result, I was using a deep socket wrench for the slide, and I'm getting a much clearer tone from the glass slide and my wound strings aren't scratching anymore. My suggestion for the heavy wall is that I used to play slide with cut off wine bottle necks about 20 years ago. It's close to the diamond blade I used to cut bottles, but now I do not have access to one. In the last few weeks, I've been learning Blind Willie Johnson's songs on my guitar tuned to D. It lets me express the tone I want in a clear and concise way.
An acoustic/electric guitar can use the slide more smoothly than a brass slide, and a cigar box guitar with a piezo pickup sounds great as well. It is thick and can be worn on the middle, ring, and pinky fingers due to its large size. I found the tone of both guitars to be brighter and more defined with this slide as compared to a brass slide which suits an electric guitar better, in my opinion. Although I have not yet tried a ceramic slide with a guitar, I am most likely going to buy a Dunlop ceramic slide down the road. I think this bottle slide will last a long time, since Jim Dunlop products are solid and last long for the most part. The slides seem to be the most popular brand aside from boutique bottle slides.
For what it's meant to do, it does an excellent job. As well as the small, I also have the medium, and that one fits a bit better. I still think this is usable, but it is designed for very large hands. There is a slight difference in the size of my fingers from the average guy there, but there is still some extra space. No matter how you do it, it's great. There is no chance that it will crack anytime soon because it feels so sturdy. It is an absolute must have for the price.
My favorite slide is this one. It's different from the ceramic slides I used to have.
As for the tone, it's quite warm and has very good sustain thanks to the heavier glass material.

The slide is good. It fits A heavy duty job.
A terrible piece of kit! My whole building seems to be in a gloomy mood. The only music I can play these days is terribly sad, crystal clear and swampy blues. No one in this room smiles.
