I'm a music composer and a professional guitarist as well, but I'm pretty new to lap steel playing. I like how heavy it is on my grip, and also how it provides great control and a stable tilt when playing my six string lap steel guitar compared to other slides I've been using. In terms of ceramics, glass or stainless steel, I was going to buy some cheap ones under $10 but ended up purchasing.
It is a nice tone bar, but I needed it to be a bit longer. The Shubb RP- was returned to me My needs are perfectly met by that one.
Since I'm new to lap steel, I think the pictures do not do it justice. I'm very pleased with it, and it actually comes in In the beginning, I thought it would have just come in bubble wrap or something like that, but it's actually a well-made slide.
It is a must for lap steel players. Due to its weight, it is easy for the player to get rich sounds like those of petal steel.
Slide for dobro made of very good materials at an affordable price. The radius of the sides of this slide fits my hand very well, even if you have large hands. I have fairly thin fingers, so this might not be the best choice for you. There's plenty of room for it to span across the strings of a six string resonator guitar, and it's not too It has a good weight, allowing a good grip on the hammer chamfered tips make it easy to put on and pull off A crisp and clean sound comes off of Off's. This steel is an excellent choice for a beginner who wants something decent that won't break the bank.
Your sound will be enhanced by the weight and mass of the instrument. Points don't stick out, so it is smooth. You may be fooled by cheap sliding doors that claim to be stainless steel but are actually just chrome-plated It is plated in As the chrome begins to wear off, you will have nicks in the.
The price is fair for the quality.
