It had two glass slides, one metal slide, and four finger picks in a hard plastic The result was not We had wrapped all three slides, the glass in thin paper and the metal in plastic, packed them in the carrying case, sealed them in plastic, then placed them in an envelope lined with bubble wrap, and yet one glass slide had a crack and the other had a small chip. have so much fun playing with these, I have started experimenting and playing slide blues with them. I love the metal one, it is solid and goes with everything. This deep blues sound will soothe your soul. I was surprised at how thin the glass was, but the sound is The glass isn't going to break that easily unless you drop it on concrete, so I think it is worth the price if you just start on the slide blues. I'm fine with putting it on the carpet. As a bonus, it comes in its own little case, which makes for an interesting storage solution.

The set is nice

I gave it to my son, 13, as a Christmas present. Due to his faulty tracking system, both slides broke within a month, as he dropped them on the floor. Otherwise, this is a nice little present. You can still use the nice metal slide that came with it if you're careful with the glass slide.

YOU ARE AT RISK! The doors open inward, but are very narrow, with thin glass/metal

Since I have small fingers, I think they will work perfectly for me, but I doubt many men will like them. It seems that the glass/metal slides are not very wide, and the tone is not as heavy or strong as the ones made of.
