There are 2 in. in length. It measures about 15/16" on the outside. The inside diameter of the tube is 11/16". Sizes of the Dunlop 212 glass slide can be found here.
A slide of this size is actually quite small, but depending largely on which finger you want to use it on, the right size may differ. This seems like one I would pass on. Trying them on at a music store such as Guitar Center, Sam Ash, etc. is important. To be able to do their best work, they need to be comfortable.
The slides don't differ in size, the only difference is the presentation format. The size you want is shown as a photo, and you can select it from there.
A ring finger should be at least the size of your finger if you have an intention of using it for a slide.

of the brass is for the most part much more clear in the mix than brass, and the sliding agility is perfect, too. Since I slide in standard tuning, I need to be able to twist and turn the slide and this one does that just fine.
For those who like the sound glass makes AND have small/slim fingers, this is a good slide to consider. It is not unusual for a woman to have average-looking hair Hands that are small. The majority of men are very large, but they are extremely It is very hard to find a slide and I had to watch some videos and look around before I got a sense of how large I need. This slide is a match to all that research since - The band doesn't fall over the knuckle of my ring finger. You get good tone, and the weight is not excessive. In comparison with my metal Dunlop 220, they are a massive improvement over my previous model. The sound of the 220 appeals to me, but I don't think its fit is right for me.
I'm extremely pleased with the way this fits and how much lighter it is than the full length glass and even heavier In case I need them again, I'll buy a couple more.
As a newbie to slides, I have a lot of questions. One of the slides I borrowed from a friend was large, full-color The following items are available in the same thickness and length I had trouble using my pinky with that. As a result of this purchase, I have been able to accomplish the following With its good width and reasonable weight, it is easy to control and has good maneuverability.
There is a slide on the package that indicates the ring fits a size 7. A size 6 or 7 ring may be better than a size 8- your fingers get sweaty and swell up a little during play, and you will need a little wiggle room to put it on and take it off easily. The ring size that fits me is about a size 5 and I don't have much wiggle room. This slide, when attached to my mandolin, creates a smooth and spacey sounding tone, as opposed to those made with metal - different musicians will prefer different sounds, and I prefer the glass slide. It is easier (if you do it right) to achieve a natural vibrato sound with this slide than a metal slide - again, different musicians have different tastes, so for first time slide purchasers, research what sounds you like before choosing a slide.
Now that I have had it roughly a week and a half, I find it to be extremely satisfying. The sound is smooth and buttery because of its light weight and thick walls. It's a versatile tool that's used to record guitars, including acoustic, electric, and resonator. My fingers are skinny, so it's ring size 7, which is great for me. You may want something a bit bigger if your fingers are large.
Since I have been playing the guitar for ten years, I have little experience The church performance I was planning required one, so I dug on google and learned that glass slides work best and some tips for how to play them properly. As a whole, it works pretty well, and it gets a nice crisp, clear sound out of it. I give it a thumbs.
It appears to me that the Dunlap 212 slide has the perfect internal diameter for a pinky. I find it to be very comfortable and effective. The density and thickness of the glass are perfect.
