This is a heavier set of slides, and I like the smaller size so that I don't lose them off my finger (pinky to My first impression is that this guitar is average, not heavy, but it is good and thick. It has good tone and a good I had accidentally acquired some thin glass slides that I could not recall where I had obtained them. We never could stand them, it wasn't easy to get the sound out of them (for me at least others may find them to be fine), we always worried that they would break at some point. It is one of two electric guitars that I own These glass slides are the third set of chrome slides, brass slides, and brass slides I got. A model of each type goes in each instrument case, and a model of each is on the practice table I keep forgetting to put the guitars in the case when I grab the two guitars off the table and the set allows me to have slides when I grab either one. There are a variety of sounds to choose from which is fun to experiment with. While I could go along with just one slide of any type, having the range of options is fun. I liked how it sounded, it felt good in my hands and it was comfortable to play once I got the right size. It actually can sound pretty good once you play it for a while.
These slides tend to be inconsistent in the way they are built, so I always buy a few, pick out the one that I like, and return the Though I had to put in a little extra work, these slides still appeal to me. It fits tightly on my ring finger and has a little bit of spare room on my pinky. I like the 211s because its wall thickness and ring size are perfect for me. It is very smooth and sound is quite clean, but I find that it is quieter than my brass slides. Also, keep in mind that these are fragile and if you are a working/professional musician, you WILL break them As a result of mishandled cases or being dropped, they often break. You should buy spares so you will never run out. Since getting the 211 slides, I have never used any other slides. I highly recommend this product, and if you are uncertain about which size to get, these 211 slides are a great choice.
These slides fit the pinky on my finger, which is the one I use to slide with my CBGs. If you use a different finger, this particular slide probably won't fit you.
However, I found the ID to be too small for my fingers even though the material is of good quality. We returned the item, and we are getting I think a thinner wall thickness on the same item would be preferable.
I love it.
I love it on my pinky finger. It's awesome to use, so go for it! A pinky slide that is right for me if you have small hands like me and are looking for a pinky slide.
The shirt fits him perfectly, and he loves it.
