For the price, it's incredible
3/5

There is one fatal flaw in this story. I had high expectations, having enjoyed some of the Joyo R series pedals previously. This one has some lovely effects, some of which are more useful than others. br>br> The concept of allowing two effects to collide is a fantastic one. It appeared to be a simple and inexpensive way to create ambiance. It feels sturdy, and the LED is attractive (I'm a sucker for shiny things). It produces excellent sound, but. br>br>When you engage the pedal, the volume drops dramatically. It's not just a slight drop in tone; it's a significant one. It's especially noticeable when there's any kind of overdrive involved, even if it's just a hint of grit. I'd never perform this live because switching it on and off during a song is a pain. It would be impossible to keep the levels under control. I understand - br>br> Joyo would have a difficult time getting all of these effects to work together across the board; perhaps he's trying to do too much. A master level knob might have helped, but even then I'm 100% sure that would fix the volume problem.

For the price, you get a lot of effects, but it takes some tinkering to get it just right
4/5

I bought this pedal to add some modulation to my board, which is already overloaded with drives and reverbs but lacks chorus, phase, and flange. My board is connected to a Peavey Classic 30 tube amp, which is split with a Boss Katana 50. I like the signal split into warm tube / cold solid state stereo effect (running a JC120 emulator on the Katana). br>Previous reviews have mentioned it appears to be a jack of all, master of none scenario, and I would agree with that; however, the reviews that state the signal is dimmed, I have had the same experience with the EHX Memory Man in that the signal is completely taken over by the pedal. It took a lot of tinkering to find a happy medium with the effects because the knobs change function slightly with each effect. br>I had to spend a lot of time experimenting with my chain to find a good spot for it, but once I did, I am happy with it, especially for the price, and wish I could give it four stars. 5 stars, with a half-star deducted for not being a pedal I fell in love with right away, as well as a few minor drawbacks (see below). br>My board is about half budget and half non-budget effects, so I'm not a pedal snob; I just look for pedals that I can afford, and my amps are also budget mined. Advantages: br>br> br>Endless variation via the parallel / slave switchbr>Tons of available effects combinationsbr>Box is built like a tankbr>Effects that you could only make with a bunch of odd pedals or a multi-effects unitbr>Effects that you could only make with a bunch of odd pedals or a multi-effects unitbr>Effects that you could only make with a bunch of odd pedals or br>Bright and unique lighting on the pedal, and an aesthetic upgrade from older Joyo pedalsbr>Stereo outputbr>A ton of available effects for the pricebr>br>Cons:
Non- The knobs have an intuitive function (they change slightly depending on the effect; there are a few really thorough review videos available that cover each effect and knob function)br>Knob finish feels cheap, like the chrome paint will chip off eventuallybr>Signal split does not appear to be true stereo (flange does not appear to move from amp to amp), but the effect definitely changes in each amp adding depthbr>There are no presets, but this is minor because most stompboxes A single box that gives you flange, tremolo, rotary (leslie), phase, ring mod, and tons of other effects for a very low price. br>I would recommend this pedal to a budget-conscious guitarist who wants access to these effects but doesn't want to spend hundreds on each effect individually, even if you bought the cheapest available on Amazon. Tips: br>br> To find a good spot for it, play around with the signal chain order. I discovered that it works best before my main echo, allowing the stereo swirls to be repeated and sound massive. Also, if you're only using one signal or amp, don't leave both outputs plugged in to the pedal. Using both outputs alters the way the effects appear and, in some cases, introduces lag, though this could be a creative choice for some.

If you don't connect it correctly, you'll experience LAG and VOLUME DROP
5/5

I was initially dissatisfied with this pedal, but I soon realized that I had connected it incorrectly. A stereo L/R input and stereo L/R output are provided by this pedal. If you're using it in mono mode, it'll take a long time to load. CHECK TO SEE IF YOU ARE USING L ON BOTH THE INPUT AND THE OUTPUT. br>br>I connected it to the L input and the R output by accident. This resulted in a signal delay (I'm guessing it's a L/R ping-pong effect). pong (a feature in which the R speaker is slightly behind the L speaker). There was also a significant reduction in volume. Both of these issues vanished as soon as I correctly plugged the output into the L jack.

A Modulation Monster on a Shoestring Budget! The Joyo Vison pedal is a new purchase for me
5/5

I've got to say, I'm pleasantly surprised by how much this thing can accomplish! The vibrato, opti trem, and chorus effects are my favorites among the 18 individual modulations that can be used in series or parallel with stereo ins and outs. Having two that I can use at the same time expands my sound options significantly. The Vision has quickly risen to the top of my list of favorite pedals. You won't find a more versatile product at this price point and with this level of construction quality anywhere else. This company has really piqued my interest, and I'll definitely be checking out some of their other offerings. This is a budget-friendly, durable addition to my pedalboard that has replaced two other pedals, which I use as a worship leader. Seriously, this is an amazing product.

You get a lot of bang for your buck
5/5

All day long, I give you five stars. You get a lot of bang for your buck. br>In the $80 category, 5 stars! br>This is a monster of a guitar and bass mod machine. I'm sure there are others, but I haven't gotten that far yet. br>All you have to do is set all the knobs to noon and click through one side or both, and you'll be inundated with ideas. Also, the blue lights are awesome! You can have them on all of the time or only when the pedal is on and off. I thought this was a fantastic feature, and the price tag of $80 is ridiculous. The build quality is excellent, and the enclosure is made of metal. The pedal has a substantial weight to it. It's also fantastic that stereo can be played if desired. br>There are a few modes that have a small volume loss, but it's not enough to warrant a three-star rating, I'll tell you. br>Tap temperature was not an issue for me; I engaged and disengaged multipul times with no problems. br>br>Overall, this pedal is a beast and a hidden gem in the pedal world. Try it out by putting this bad boy on your pedalboard.
