Questions & Answers

Size of rack - what is it? Because the ones listed make no sense for 24" wide, I think they're the package. Thanks a lot! ?

I believe you are correct. The rack is 36" wide, 30" tall, and 13" deep. The depth of the room is 25 inches.

Is there a recommendation for refinishing oak in a darker color? What do you think about stripping it and sanding it ?

Despite the rack's color and shape, I was quite pleased with it. There was a bunch of guitars I got from the floor, which were neatly stored in a good room- Rack that looks good and works well. My advice, based on experience refinishing wood furniture, is to thoroughly sand the wood before applying your choice of

Are you assembling? What is the cost- The shipping is going to be a mess if I do it In the process of changing the tape roll, I hurt myself. ?

If you are confident and generally skilled in this sort of thing, you will find it quite straightforward. First time, I made a few mistakes that were easily corrected, because I was too confident and didn't read the instructions carefully. on the second try, after taking the thing apart and putting it back together, I managed to get it right. Considering your nervousness it sounds like you may have a bit of trouble, so you might try asking a friend who is good at this sort of thing to help you out. While the instructions are precise and correct, there are a couple of subtleties about how the pieces are aligned and oriented that I missed the first time. Handymen, regardless of their qualifications, should be able to assemble it correctly on the first try if they carefully follow the instructions, lay the parts out on a large table or the floor first, and then assemble it according to the instructions. Tell me and I'll tell you. The following note should be noted It was important that I DID NOT glue the pieces together like described in the instructions. My mistake was easily accounted for due to the fact that I could take it apart again and correct it. Both the final (2nd) and second attempts failed to adhere to each other. In case I need to ship it, store it or move it, I want to be able to take it apart again if it needs to be packed. My capability of doing so would be limited if the pieces were glued together. Now that I've added 5 cases to the rack, it's holding up just fine, so I don't think the glue is necessary, unless you plan to travel with it or move it around a lot, or fold and unfold it frequently, for example.

What is the minimum height of this stand for a violin case not to touch the ground? There are two violin cases I have an oblong case and a half moon case. ?

Cases that fit violins completely are the only ones that fit properly, all other sizes are While half moon and oblong cases might not be wide enough to sit on the rack without touching the floor, they can still remain upright without falling over.

The only caveat is that it is very nice
4/5

There is a tube of glue included with this. Using it is a bad idea. There should be a ban on Gorilla glue because it is an unsafe You can also avoid using any glue at all and use regular wood glue. In between the screw holes, you are told to apply a thin line of glue. This glue will expand into an ugly yellow film that is hard and brittle. The product can still be cleaned while it's still damp, but it will continue to expand, turning something that could have been lovely into an ugly.

This is an excellent product! My guitars had to be protected from harm and sturdy
5/5

My finished product is made from SOLID WOOD, and took me less than fifteen minutes to assemble. There is no need to purchase anything else! It is made in the United States, it comes packaged perfectly, and it is extremely strong once it has been assembled. This is a product I HIGHLY recommend to anyone considering buying it. The kit even includes a tiny tube of Gorilla Glue for holding this all Use the glue according to the instructions It isn't necessary to buy a lot of things. This product is made in the USA, and that's the thing I like best about it. As a frequent online shopper, I am often troubled by the fact that so many products are manufactured abroad. In the end, what you pay for is what you get In the case of this American-born -A product made of solid material A wood rack looks good, is strong and is made with straight, solid wooden pegs- There is wood already cut out for you, and all the tools you need are included. It will take a Phillips head screwdriver, but that's it. I love this product! I recommend it highly! It's been a long time since I should've purchased one.

It's a great rack, but would benefit from an addition

3D models of which you can create Create a printout. The String Swing I have is nice, but given my mostly soft and delicate skin, A number of cases, as well as some oddities With all of the guitar-sized stuff, I end up with a pile over to one side.

To keep the guitars standing, I created a 3D-printed separator to prevent them from falling over. Those interested in printing it can find the 3D model for it at YouMagine. com, and the instructions for doing so. "String Swing" can be found by searching. A local Hacker Space or a Public Library may have a 3D printer, and it may be possible to print at that location if you do not own your own 3D printer. Each of these is used by me five times a day.

This is the perfect guitar for those who collect guitars
5/5

The oak guitar case stand looks great with this guitar - A handmade piece of I think the $30 extra is not worth the black walnut look, which is ok but not as good as the oak. The softshell package is great for guitar players and other stringed instrument players who believe stringed instruments should always be protected with a hardshell case. Since I've been stacking mine horizontally on top of each other for way too long, I was glad to discover Of course, there are those who argue that a guitar that's in its case doesn't get played While it is sometimes true, it might be a good solution if you don't have the storage space and need to keep them on individual stands or if you do not have the wall space to hang them.

I needed exactly what you provided! There are five acoustic guitars in this collection The number of cases is 5
5/5

Putting cases in closets and under the bed, putting guitars on stands that work OK but eat up too much space, this has been my routine for years. I keep them in their cases but also out for easy access, with one or two stands for the one(s) I play every day. Keeping the instruments near the table when it comes time to go to lessons or jam sessions is also helpful. My experience might not be the same as others, but I found it very effective! All six pieces on this stand are rounded edges with smooth surfaces. The stand is made of solid ash, and the pieces are nicely finished with smooth edges and This oil and wax finish is particularly appealing to me, as it allows the wood to breathe so that it will last longer and not split or crack as it does with varnish, stain, or shellac. Everything was in order when it came to assembly instructions I'm working on that right now But be aware of the details on how the pieces should be orientated relative to one another. Particular attention should be given to the attachment of the angles on the side pieces and the front piece at the bottom. For example, if the wing nuts do not clench into the bolt threads with washers beneath them, it means the side pieces are not correctly positioned. It is not INSIDE of the stand but the OUTSIDE where the larger countersink holes are located for the bolts This is something I learned the hard way by not paying enough attention to instructions. Although I did NOT use Gorilla glue in the manner directed, here is what I did instead In the near future, we expect to move and pack the rack with ease. I prefer to allow it to disassemble for easier packing and transit.

It works for me to adopt a minimalist approach! I have just the product for this Sure, you can get a much fancier one for three times as much, but it would cost at least four times the price
5/5

The number now stands at 4 hundred. As such, if you are willing to work with a more minimalist approach, this will serve you well. As a result, your mileage may vary. It says 5 guitars, but I have 4 acoustics and 2 flat electric cases on it and they work fine. As well as being easy to put together. The manufacturer includes glue for some of the double screw attachment points, but I did not use it because I like the ease of taking it apart if I need to move the unit in the future. My board feels very stable and I do not miss the glue at all possess the time and tools, it is easy to make something like this yourself and save a few dollars. However, for $60, I would be very happy to have someone else handle the hard work, and I just need to make sure it is assembled properly. Considering I get it in two days with Amazon Prime free shipping and I get it in two days, it really isn't a no-brainer!.

I bought two of them as they are excellent quality
5/5

Since I have so many guitars, I have a lot of them. They are always in hard cases since I always buy It took me more than two of them to get two of them lying down on the floor. As long as they are assembled properly, there is no concern about them breaking. The case is holding some heavy Gorilla flight cases with big hollowbody jazz boxes without any problems.

Why they don't like odd shaped cases like a Flying V hard case, however, is beyond me. In the meantime, if you don't spend a few minutes positioning it properly, it will tip forward. Using a large rectangle Explorer case would be the same. Despite that, I do not worry about them once they are in. I recommend it! The floor is so good to have.
