What you really get is a hunk of machined or more likely molded aluminum that has been painted with a As I had imagined, it's not as durable as I thought it would be, as it has plenty of lateral flex when it's With relative ease, you can insert the 5 support arms included with the kit. On top of that, the installation method gave me pause as it simply says "drill" without specifying the size of the drill bit, depth of the drill or the preferred method of installation. A simple fix if you 're a carpenter and have an accurate framing square, leveler, drill, and drill bits for drilling holes in solid wood. Overall, the kit does not include any basic support items such as drywall screws (as they are a must-have item for most users), a level, a ruler/guide, a screwdriver, or any other tool - This is a catastrophic failure. I don't think the end caps look so great but it does cover the holes.
These items must be addressed and are required to be included in It's a whopping $140 for a version that features nothing, but I would not buy it unless the whole package included everything. I think it should take some notes from Ikea, which has all the tools you need and offers instructions that are easy to follow despite language barriers.
I am very pleased with both the aesthetics and functionality after it was installed. It is only the installation of the product that is the cause of my complaint. Two end caps come with the kit that are intended to be installed with double sided tape, and therefore all the larger components are easy to install. The 3M tape taped out so the hold was absolutely nonexistent, despite the fact it was 3M. In order to attach the caps, I will have to glue them. They are mainly used for aesthetic purposes, but they also stop the guitar holders from falling out of the channels.
As a whole I give it a good grade not just for construction but also for ease of installation. There is only one thing I don't like about the end caps, which is the adhesive. It was easy to remove the plastic from the first side, but it was a nightmare to remove the other side. Be more cooperative, and I think a better adhesive product would make it even better. Apart from that, the product is functioning and looks as it should.
When I watched the video, I was excited to receive the product and to see how easy installing it looked. Having to drill into the rack was not a big deal, but the type of materials used made this look terrible In the process of drilling into the rack, the black area will get splintered and the rack will look really bad. believe a better design would have been to leave a line of screwing space along the whole line of the product and then after screwing it in tape or plastic would have been the perfect way to cover the screwed in area. The product would also make it possible to not have to use a drill for the installation. I used to work in construction, so I had all the proper drill bits in my arsenal. But even with them, it was still difficult to line up the hole correctly. In retrospect, I would take it to a shop and drill it in holding the rack down and using a smaller drill bit rather than the 3/16 recommended by the manufacturer. That way, I wouldn't have wasted time drilling it in without the rack clamped down. In the end, I had to drill 2 holes in one area since drilling by hand would mean that the axis would be a bit off and this would prevent the screw head from going through completely. Because of these blemishes, the product now looks quite shabby. If this were a return I would do so, but since I already drilled holes in it, I'd have to keep I feel that for a product in this price range, it could have been more durable. There's not much to worry about with the arms.

I may just have had a bad experience, since other reviews have been much better. However, I installed it and screwed it into studs in my wall. However, it does not appear to be sturdy in any way. The weight began to pull away from the wall after a little addition of weight. As I am afraid the guitars will fall to the floor and damage the floor, I do not want to hang them on it. If there had been anchors, I think this would have been better, but I'd rather not even try. I will not be successful with it, even though it has worked for others.
This appears to be a good product. As long as the holes are not predrilled, each individual buyer has more options for mounting their furniture. The only issue I have is that I do not have metal drill bits, so I made my wood/sheet rock drill work, but messed up the aluminum and black covering. Could you throw in a cheap one into *Brief description of the buyer Take advantage of this! We love it so far! The skuffing and scraping caused by not having the correct drill bit is mostly covered by the guitar arms and I am probably the only one who notices it.
Guitar hangers like this one are absolutely awesome. We can easily remove our instruments when we want to play them as all of our instruments are hung safely. The product has been shown to my friends, who also want it!.
