It is dependent on the type of acoustic guitar used. I'm confident that I'll be able to squeeze in my National Reso- In mine, I have a Phonic Style 1 tricone or a Martin DX mini, but not an Ovation Celebrity. K& M also offers a 3 1 model that accommodates three electric or bass guitars as well as one acoustic guitar. K& 17534 and a fifth that could accommodate five acoustic guitars K 17515

It's a little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for most of the time. Note: This model is not suitable for acoustics, so as others have suggested, make sure you order the correct model. br>br>It's tough and well-designed to keep the guitars from crashing into each other, and it easily supports the weight of the three electric guitars and one bass I keep in it right now. (I see myself buying another guitar in the near future. ) I'd rather not squander a slot. I'm sure my wife understands. ) I purchased it with the castor wheel kit - It was very simple to set up - I read some people's concerns about their instruments discoloring the translucent rubber material or the rubber material discoloring their instruments, which makes moving the rack around my office a breeze. br>br>I read some people's concerns about their instruments discoloring the translucent rubber material or the rubber material discoloring their instruments, which is an important consideration when cleaning the office. br>br>I read some people's concerns about their instruments discoloring the translucent rubber material or the rubber material discoloring their I bought a few rolls of grey felt tape and taped it to the stand where the guitars sit on the rubber. It functions flawlessly and appears to have been placed there on purpose. Please look at the photos. br>br>My only concern is that there is no neck strap to keep the guitars in the stand; I live in earthquake country, and a "roller" could easily knock the guitars out. Velcro strips or GearTies wrapped loosely around the guitar necks to hold them to the stand would be a good solution, in my opinion. Overall, a great stand for 5 electric guitars. br>br>.
I was pleasantly surprised by how well the stand turned out. Holds the guitars almost completely upright, saving a significant amount of space in the process depth-wise. Get the caster wheels; being able to move the stand without having to remove the guitars makes a huge difference. The guitars do not slide, they are well-fitting, and there is no risk of staining or damage to the instruments. When removing or installing the stand, they don't bang against each other, and it's a one-piece unit that requires no assembly. br>br>A little pricey, but considering you're probably holding tens of thousands of dollars in guitars and basses, it's well worth it. br>br>Fits small acoustics as well, but not my larger Martin.
Overall, it's a good stand that's simple to put together, and the casters were a must for me. I like how the guitars sit on the stand and how stable everything is. The claim is that the stand will not turn black when nitro cel finishes are used - (I have the clear stand, but my Gibson LP Custom Shop has colored it red. ) I took it off the stand and haven't replaced it yet. To protect any vintage finishes, I would continue to use felt tape.
I needed a simple, space-saving, secure stand to hold a few guitars, and I'm happy with my purchase. After doing some research both online and at GC, I came to the conclusion that this had the most appealing features of the bunch. It folds up and can be easily transported if necessary. The rubber (silicone-based, I assume) protective material on the bottom, sides, and top, where it comes into contact with the guitar, is excellent. WAY BETTER THAN FELTED OR ANY OF THE OTHER MATERIALS USED BY THE OTHERS. I was using two Hercules stands (2 guitar stands), and while I don't have anything bad to say about them, they do take up a lot of room. Also, as someone who lives in California, I'm always thinking about having something sturdy enough to keep the guitars from falling or banging against the wall in the event of an earthquake. In that regard, I believe this stance triumphs over the opposition. Hanging stands of the Hercules type. Anyway. It's something I'd buy again if I needed one. It's gentle on my guitars, convenient to use, stable, and attractive, among other things. There isn't much to complain about, except that if it had been my design, I would have added a strap near the neck holder to ensure that none of the guitars would fall over in the event of an earthquake.
To begin with, it's a fantastic stand that does an excellent job. I can't say it does it better than any other stand, but it's a good value for the money. It has a soft rubber type material everywhere your guitars come into contact with the stand, which is supposed to be safe for nitrocellulose finishes, so that's nice. I took one star off because it doesn't come with casters, which you have to buy separately and no retailers stock them, so expect to wait a month for a special order if you want them. They should have included casters for the price of the stand. One of my other guitar stands, which was much less expensive, had casters, so it's a real bummer that this one doesn't.
5 stars. I needed a stand that could hold four acoustic guitars. This one takes care of everything for me, and it's of excellent quality. (If you have a big acoustic though full size dreadnaught, which I don't have, I can't say if that would fit or not; mine is a slightly different shape. ) It's made in Germany, and you might be wondering why that matters. It matters because Germans make high-quality products, and this is no exception. It's obvious that it's of good quality when you first open it and it clicks into place. Obviously, it isn't, but the thing has a nice quality to it that makes it feel like it's made of Kevlar. In my opinion, it is well worth the money. It's for storing items that I don't want to get messed up, and this is an excellent option.
Make a bold statement. The clear (colorless) elastomer parts prevent your nitrocellulose-finished guitars from becoming "stained" black. The optional wheels are highly recommended because they roll extremely smoothly and are silicone coated, which means they won't scratch my hardwood floors. I have two 5-foot stands and two 10-foot stands). They've been a game changer for organizing all of my (too many) bass guitars in a small space (two guitar models and two 3 1 models).
I used to store my five guitars in the corner of my office on regular guitar stands, which took up 8'x8' of space. While changing instruments, I was constantly slamming guitars into one another. With the letter K, The area of the M stand is roughly 2'x1'. This is a fantastic 5'! It's just that I wish it came with rollers as a standard feature.
