I'm not sure how much it can hold, but it's very sturdy. My 7-year-old daughter is in my arms. A perfect design guitar hanger for stringing an electric guitar.

These hooks are far and away the best I've ever used

I ordered four 2-packs for a total of eight. To be honest, I was skeptical. Before ordering these, I looked at a lot of other products and read a lot of reviews. They easily accommodate both my Gretch and Gibson guitars. I can't comment on the drywall anchors because I went straight to a stud for each hanger, but it's been almost three months and there have been no issues or dropped guitars.

The finish on one of them is uneven

One of the hooks has a sloppily finished surface. I'll have to paint them or live with the uneven finish if I want to use them. These will be in our bedroom, so they won't be visible enough to warrant a return, but be aware that you may want them on display. One has a fantastic finish, so it could just be a coincidence.

The headstock is resting on the tuners, and the high E string is loosening! The tuning pegs on my old Guild have been replaced with Shaller locking style tuning pegs

The issue is that the string locking screw rests on the cradle, and when I loosen it, the string slips, going out of tune and making tuning difficult.

I bought it on Black Friday for a good price, but the hardware is rusted, which is strange because they don't appear to be that old. I give it one star for the price and one star for the quick shipping.

The product is good, but the finish is poor

The finish on these is sub-par, as others have stated. par. I sanded it down, and they now resemble the oak string swings I already owned. They appear to be sturdy and are working well so far, aside from the finish.
