It's interesting to see what everyone has to say. We also believe it is unnecessary if a drywall anchor is used. The anchors that come with the hanger are Zip-Lock anchors. After trying all of the options, many people prefer it brand anchors and is the style that many people prefer. YouTube has a number of excellent videos that cover the subject thoroughly and will give you confidence in your mounting decision.
I have a Taylor guitar that cost a lot of money (several thousand dollars), and I feel like it hangs very securely on this holder; however, I did make sure it was firmly attached to studs in my wall. I'd never hang a valuable guitar in a holder that wasn't anchored to the wall with studs!
We're sorry, but we don't have a three-pack of straps available right now. We'll add it as soon as possible.
The largest screw you can use with these hangers without having to re-tighten them is number eight. the holes are being drilled The weight limit of the hanger, even with a 6 screw, is 15 lbs, which is a lot more than the vast majority of guitars.

When I first saw this guitar hanger, I decided to give it a try because many reviewers said it was fantastic, and they were correct. I like the color we got because it's a darker wood, but the lighter color is also nice! On the set of three that we received, we hang one large, one medium, and one small guitarlele; they all fit and securely rest on these guitar keepers. It improves our standard of living, in my opinion. Our little toddlers can't reach the guitars, so the room looks and feels very cozy! It's a win-win situation for all parties involved. win.
Hangers are great, but fulfillment is haphazard. Update: Everything is in its right place. I still needed hangers after returning my first order, which was missing two hangers. And, to be honest, these hangers aren't really available locally, so I figured I'd take a chance and reorder the same item(s) in the hopes that they'd get it right the second time. I'm happy to report that the new order arrived today, and everything is as it should be - I received all three hangers in excellent condition. String Swing makes great gear, as I mentioned in my initial review, and I've been using it for a long time. Hopefully, the previous fulfillment issues are no longer an issue, but if you have any issues with your order, I can attest that they promptly issued a refund, and everything was perfect when I reordered. br>- br>Review from the start: I had the same issue as the other two reviewers. I ordered a three-pack of this item, but only received one hanger, which was taped up like the other reviewer's. I've returned the package to UPS for return shipping and am waiting for my refund. Aside from that, String Swing produces high-quality goods. I've been using their hangers and other products for years and have always been satisfied with the quality. In fact, I have 13 of these exact hangers on the wall in my man cave and need a few more (hence this erroneous order). They make some of the best gear, especially when it comes to guitar hangers, in my opinion. They are the gold standard in the industry, and I will definitely use them again. However, I'm dissatisfied with this order, especially since the mix-up appears to be ongoing and the issue has yet to be resolved. Guys, get your act together! You're better than this.
I have a number of guitars, and this appeared to be the best product for mounting them on the wall. They have a strong sense of safety, which is crucial. I didn't need the white drywall anchors they included because I chose locations directly on studs; the screws were the perfect length to go through 1/2" drywall and into the stud. In order to attach to a stud, you'll need at least 3/4" to 1" of space. br>br>The drywall anchors work well as well, but you must first drill a 1/4" hole and then hand drive them in with a 3 Phillips screwdriver. I've done them that way for 15 years and have never had an issue. The problem occurs when people attempt to use a drill/driver without first drilling a pilot hole.
I didn't need to look for a stud because the drywall anchors combined with the screws provided, in my opinion, were more than secure enough to hold an instrument up to 10-pounds. Weight: 12 lbs All of my guitars are significantly smaller. The holder is the ideal width and is made of surgical-style rubber that is non-marring on all surfaces. It took only 1 minute to set up. Using a cordless drill and a Phillips bit, it only took 2 minutes. The walnut appears to be of excellent quality. As my collection grows, I will undoubtedly purchase more.
They're beautiful, and they're firmly attached to the wall. There is no sagging or wobbling. The process of mounting is extremely simple. easy. In the hanger, the guitar looks great. Draw- back - These are pricey, and there are cheaper alternatives that work just as well (I bought some cheaper ones to compare and found them to be very similar). Last words - Despite the fact that they are more expensive than some of the less expensive alternatives, the difference is palpable. The hanger is more luxuriously "padded," the hanger mounting screw is slightly larger, and the branded logo completes the look - Is the higher price justified? - Depending on the number of guitars you have hung. Lastly - Use the anchors at your own risk if you want to mount - I mounted directly to the studs and would not consider any other option.
These guitar hangers are well-crafted and attractive. It's a big plus that they're made in the United States. They are extremely well-made and durable. They come with drywall anchors, so if you need to hang them where there isn't a stud, you should be fine. I hung two bass guitars and one guitar, and I did have to use the drywall anchors for one of them, and it's holding up fine. If you hang them where there is a stud, they are super secure. Anyone who enjoys music or is a musician should listen to them.

One point to consider: Having worked with plaster and drywall before, I'd strongly advise using a more robust anchor (esp. It simply doesn't make financial sense to include high-quality anchors with such a strong hanger—I wouldn't consider the anchors to be part of what you're really getting here. You can also drill out the hole to accommodate a larger anchor screw, and even when the screw head or pan is larger than the recess in the wood, it still looks neat—which I'd say is a testament to the hanger's design.
