It claims to be compatible with Martins. It was the right size for me and was reasonably priced.
It's unlikely that this is what you're looking for. These wrenches are made to adjust acoustic guitar truss rods that have a female metric allen wrench bolt head that can be accessed through the sound hole. Because both ends are long, you'll have leverage even if the bolt head is several inches from the sound hole's edge. Male square pegs, not female allen wrech pegs, are found on the majority of autoharps. Look up "Oscar Schmidt Autoharp Tuning Wrench" in the search engine.
Some guitars, such as Gibsons, have a plastic cover over the adjustment up at the headstock between the tuning pegs. Fenders only have a hole in them. Some hex sockets (Allen wrench style) have a hex nut instead of a hex socket, in which case a thin wall socket is used. These wrenches work for guitars with truss rods that have either a 4mm or 5mm hex socket, and some require a brand-specific tool. They're simply high-quality Allen wrenches with long legs. Look up "truss rod adjustment for xxxx yyyy guitar," where xxxx refers to the brand and yyyy refers to the model. If you purchased the guitar brand new, it's possible that a wrench was included in the small plastic bag you tossed away.
4mm is . The decimal equivalent is 160, and the fractional equivalent is 5/32. So, in response to your question, the answer is the same.

This tool is used to adjust the neck tension on a Martin guitar. The truss rod is located inside the sound hole and a few inches toward the neck, and this tool makes it accessible.
Yes, it was successful for my Martin. I was able to make adjustments to the truss bar. Action is exactly what I'm looking for.
Junk metal (if it were possible, I'd give it a one-star rating). On the first use, the ball end of the truss rod sheared off. Now I have to spend hours removing the stumbling blockage it has caused. As I should have done, go to StewMac.
On a Charvel model 625 Acoustic Electric Guitar, I attempted to adjust the truss rod with a standard 5mm Allen wrench, but part of the fret board extended onto the top of the guitar body, and a standard Allen wrench was not quite long enough to reach through the sound hole and access the Truss Rod screw. The Vincetmat 5mm wrench was able to reach through with ease and make the necessary adjustments.
I needed this to adjust the truss rod on my Martin D15, and this was exactly what I needed. It's a bit pricey for what it is, but I couldn't find a better deal on something similar anywhere else.
Other truss rod keys cost more than three times as much as this one, and it works just as well.
When tightening the truss rod for the first time, it bent and twisted like a tin can. I couldn't believe it when I took the wrench out of the sound hole. With my hands, I could also bend the wrench. a complete waste of time!.
