The tool is excellent for learning music theory. On one side, you have the minor pentatonic scales and on the other, you have the major pentatonic scales. As a modal training tool or by incorporating it into the CAGED system, this works It did not matter how the semi tone intervals were missing to me, because, when viewed in the light of the key you are in, it was quite clear what notes they were. In the current situation, I would buy it in a New York moment as well. Honestly, it's one of the best tools ever!
Look at the slide part of the ruler in its C position, and you will see how the ruler printing cannot accommodate printing from that first position. As a side note, I have used this tool for a while and it is a very useful one. If you cannot find it, look for one similar. The slide ruler I have was from the 1970s and it had the major and minor pentatonics but not CAGED. That is a great idea.

While I'm sure there are some people who find this tool valuable, I can appreciate why there are so many positive reviews for this item Nevertheless, I found it ergonomically lacking, in that the insert did not slide easily and also the characters were printed in such a tiny font that I could not read them at all. The device would be fine for someone with better eyesight, clear hands, and a sufficient understanding of music theory however, for me it was too difficult, and I was unable to justify shelling out so much money for something I wasn't satisfied with, so I returned it.
Excellent tool for learning pentatonic scales, diatonic and minor scales, blues scales, and modes of all seven instruments. Learning the five shapes of the fretboard frontward and backward, inside out and inside out (each shape is colored differently on the slide rule), you will know your fretboard like the back of your hand. I bought this slide rule primarily to unravel the Mysteries of This slide rule is the easiest, most visual way for me to do it. I've tried a few other methods, but none is as clear, simple, and visual as it is. Does it make sense to pay thirty bucks for it? It's a resounding yes for me. It is awesome how much this slide rule has helped me, I've spent more on flash cards and posters, and they all haven't helped There is a $30 charge for both paper and plastic The layout and design of this classroom resource is very useful, but you'll have to pay for the careful thought and planning that went into it. A superb customer service team is also available. The ruler I received was defective (some of the cuts out were misshapen). A representative contacted me, and I was told that they had a defective run, and that a new one would be sent to me once it came in. It took a couple weeks for it to arrive, but it finally did. You did a great job! There isn't much reason to worry about the cons The closet smells like my grandmother's mothballs and cedar. The laminate coating on the inside of the plastic sleeve is what I suspect is causing the problem. There is a slight smell after a couple weeks, but it goes away eventually. takes up a lot of space, isn't very helpful, and has way too much information. If they reduced it by about 50 percent, that would be better. Though the fretboard maps are quite simple to use and anyone who has already worked with fretboard maps will be at ease with it. The Rise & Shine team thanks you for your support The sun is shining It makes me a happier guitar student to have you as a teacher!.
It seems that you are What are you talking about? $30? Are you crazy? No, it's not. Your efforts will definitely be rewarded. Despite its high price, it's a quality product. Design is well thought out. You just need to tell it what to do, and it just does it It is easy to move the fretboard to any key you need in order to see the scales clearly and practice.
If you need to change keys easily, you can change in the fretboard. Please read the notes carefully The dots aren't enough The transparent openings allow the show to be seen. Also, you can make out the major notes in no time. The blues notes are also included. The minor is on one side and the major on the other (albeit seemingly insignificant dots)
They are both majors. Here is a tip for you You may want to get a dry-cleaner You should erase the Mark the areas you would like to pay attention to with it. Those who are serious about learning scales should get this book. My whole life I have never seen anything like this?.
Standing ovation is due to this slider ruler product. It's been a while since I've been here It's delightful to learn the pentatonic scales, modes, notes, and fretboard shapes as I embrace my past experiences as a guitarist. I particularly like how this ruler shows the scale shapes and notes in vivid Technicolor detail to make understanding the scale shapes and notes easy. It has now become no longer a chore to run all the scales, both individually and in connection. There are also two marks that allow you to turn off the scales. To create a basic shape, it would be useful to add notes at different scale levels. This ruler should endure for years since it is made from high quality materials Nonetheless, it is very portable, easy to read, logical, durable, and includes a useful operating and examples sheet that tells how to operate the program and gives recommendations on how to implement them efficiently. As well as the email product, the support is excellent. Highly recommended. The price was well worth it. I think it's a good idea.
This is an amazing product! I bought one as a gift to help a starving artist I know. His unwavering dedication to sharing his lifetime of musical knowledge works as if it were a lifelong gift, because he can explain and share it over an extended period of time The Sliding Ruler serves as a common visual reference for understanding the clash lines. I love that.
It's a great tool for learning. You can use this tool to quickly communicate modes if you are in a band that writes music together.
As well as hesitant to spend $$ on a paper product that I thought I might easily be able to print and produce myself, I was also hesitant to spend time on it. In my opinion, this product has exceeded my expectations, and I'm so happy I purchased it. I have been a beginner and learning scales has been a bear, but this tool has been incredibly The fretboard and how the scales interrelate has only been on my mind a few days, but it has already clicked with me completely. The Best Guitar Practice Book is a must-have for a beginner and an essential tool for their growth as guitarists.
The David Wallimann guitar course does exactly what it claims to do. This tool is based largely on the materials you see on a stack of paper from the course. All the tools you need are in one easy to use place here. Below is a cheat sheet for you to use if you plan to take his course.
