Questions & Answers

Schecter's Floyd Rose 1500 uses a 1500 watt amplifier, will this work with it?

Yes, I am. A 1500 Floyd hooked up to a Schecter, I have used it. A Floyd 8 string will probably fit inside just fine.

In place of the wooden tremolo block, is that what this is used for?

This is exclusively used to change strings on guitars equipped with floating tremolos, such as a Floyd Rose. The bar on the tremolo is raised and the TremBlock placed under the Floyd to fix it in place making it easier to reach the allen screws that hold the strings in place.

What are the chances of this working ?

There are no floating tremolos with this.

Is this a good way to install a d-tuna on a Floyd rose so that it has the ?

No, not for intonation, I have never used a d-tuna, but if you need the tone not to move while you install it, you might be able to use it - I only use it to change the strings, quick and easy.

Don't forget to watch out for I have tested it and it works great
3/5

Is a breeze to use. Nevertheless, I can see scratches on the body of the guitar as a result of the attachment. Lucky for me, I used it on an old Ibanez that I could afford to scratch. I will probably wrap a cotton cloth around the tool to ensure that the guitar is extra cushioned to prevent any finger marks.

The Floyd Rose System is essential for those who own Floyd Rose A friend recently gave me a guitar that had a Floyd Rose pickup, and it's turned out to be a good investment as I also paid bottom dollar for the guitar, and it's filled a niche in my collection, and is generally unique in itself
5/5

My only issue was that I had a lot of difficulty getting the bridge to stay level when I was stringing the guitar because there was a huge learning curve with the Floyd Rose vibrato system. I had a difficult time replacing the strings in the first place, and it became very difficult after I removed the old strings completely. In one of the online forums, many people provided instructions that advised blocking the vibrato system by putting something underneath, but I could not find anything in the house that would work, so when I found this online, I figured it was worth a shot, and it worked perfectly. Changing the strings is no longer a problem for me, and while I am still not sure if the Floyd Rose is worth the trouble compared to the vibrato system on my beloved Jazzmaster and Jaguar, you still need a small amount of skill to set it up. This TremBlock is what I had in mind. Since it's just a piece of metal, I don't know what more to say, but it is doing an admirable job. Despite being able to do this for less money, I found it to be worth it.

As stated, it does what it is supposed to do
5/5

Plastic is not something you have to get excited about over a lot. In any case, if you need to continually work on Floyd Rose trems as I do, this is a necessary tool. The bottom of the case is padded to protect the finish from dragging on the floor. String changes are easier with this bag. This tool allows easy access to the locking bolts by keeping your Floyd Rose trem elevated while you do not have string tension on it. You can now add a tool to make life easier if you are a guitar technician changing strings on a Floyd Rose.

In a recessed trem, the thickness may be an issue
3/5

The pickup block on my Charvel Custom shop is just a little bit too thick and has a recessed floyd. This is why you should be aware. This can be adjusted to a greater extent if the beveled area is more prominent. However, for me, this angle points the trem ever so slightly forward (flat), so that I do not It may be possible to sand it a bit down once I get around to it. That would take up too much of my time.

Open the back of your guitar without removing the strings! There's nothing to worry about with this piece of equipment
5/5

What ever other reviews say doesn't matter. It works. I can attest to that. The whammy bar must be pressed down while it is placed under your floyd. Put your strings in a different order. Get rid of it and tune it. Neither opening the back of the guitar nor adjusting anything is necessary. As long as the bridge stays flush, everything will work.

It is a very useful Obviously, there are other things you can do in lieu of preserving the finish of your guitar, but I prefer to preserve the finish when I use my guitar
5/5

There is a risk of scratching the guitar's finish with alternative devices. It can simply be stuck under the trem no instructions are necessary. Remove all strings then change them.

It does not make sense to me! The answer is not known to me
5/5

The Floyd Rose method doesn't work for any of the two guitars I have with floating bridges (Floyd Rose style). The scratcher seems nice, and it could also be used to scratch some areas that are hard to reach. This is a 5 star rating!.

This is an excellent work for Fleyd Rose Brisges
5/5

The floyd string is almost as enjoyable as changing out the strings! This mechanism allows you to remove a string, retune, and keep the bridge level at the same time.
