Guitars are a big part of my life. My local luthier was charging a lot for setting them up for different types of music. So I started to buy electrics, acoustics, classicals, and other instruments. In order to accomplish that, I bought a bunch of tools and decided to learn how to do it myself. The most commonly used tool that I own is the neck support, Nut files, fretboard cleaners, nut/saddle bone, calipers, feeler gauges, etc.
For electric guitars, this is my most frequently used instrument. You can start with this item if you want to do a simple set up yourself and only need to buy one item. Check the action across the fretboard with this tool. Check the height of the bridge with this tool. Test it to see if you are relieved. Rocker in the French manner. If your guitar has a Floyd Rose nut (or any other nut with locking capabilities), this and an allen wrench are all you need to set it up. In spite of this, I do not trust the action recommended When I try to use medium action, I get a buzz even when it's set to low E. My opinion is that the actions suggested on StewMac are good. If you want, you can just do it by feeling. You gain a lot of control over the tone and quality of your guitar when you set it up yourself. It feels so good to play your own guitar that even your luthier cannot understand what it is like. In any case, this is a great tool for recording measurements in order to be able to refer to them later.
My hobby is building guitars and I also setup and perform other general maintenance on a few of my friends and family members' instruments. Music Nomad doesn't sell a product that I haven't believed to be a quality product. I like the matte black finish on the action gauge and the white font. The matte black finish on the gauge makes it much easier to read than the other metallic gauges I have. I am extremely satisfied with this product at such a reasonable.
I like the way you made it. Although I've tried the rectangular metal string gauges that you can buy on Amazon and elsewhere, they've never fit properly or were off in measurements. The front and back of the gauge are right-angle-cut and marked accurately, and the white lettering stands out well against the Because the edges are different lengths, it is easy to see if a fret has high spots. This would have been a better choice for me if I had bought it.
This gauge has a lot of potential. While I have had others, I find this one to be easy to read because of the contrast between the numbers and The silver background of most of these watches can make the black numbers In addition, it is also a very usable fret rocker, which is not the case with.
It was easy to read and easy to understand, and Music Nomad even had video tutorials online to show you how to use their product! Another great thing about this pedal is that it can also be performed as a fret rocker. If you bought 2 separate tools like this, it would cost you $40 and up, but you get BOTH of them with this package! If you are serious about your guitars, or intend to be serious, you should consider purchasing cleaning products (Music Nomad has all kinds of cleaning products! strings from us, you should get this.
This measurement is extremely accurate, and I double-checked with calipers just to make It has straight and smooth edges, as well as a clear print. I love it!.
This is a great way to adjust your action after you have checked it.
If you take it out of the box and look at it, it doesn't look like something that's worth the money. I'm not sure how accurate it is either. If that's not accurate, I'll probably find a way to check it out, and if it's not accurate then I will deduct points accordingly.
