There is no packaging on the item anymore, and it does not state where it was made, so I cannot verify where it was made. In my experience, they are both good at cutting strings and do a good job of it.
Even though you can't see the spring, it always goes back to its original position when stretched. This knife comes with a sheath to keep it from getting damaged Here's hoping you find it helpful.
I strongly believe that nylon strings work well with this product.
It is best to not do this unless you are an experienced string changer. Your fragile guitar could be scratched or even damaged by this pin! An electronic bridge pin puller is available for sale, and a string winder will often have an electronic bridge pin puller. You can see a 'U' shape left inside the winder's end. A string winder can be acquired on Amazon for a very low price if you do not have access to your neighborhood Using a pair of needle nosed pliers with a gentle touch, I am able to reach the places where the knot is.

If you hear a bad sound coming out of your guitar, do not think that you are at fault for that! Your practice has paid off! I am sure you are familiar with That was probably just one of those naughty little things that annoy others I've made strings that just won't vibrate the way they You are hereby authorized to use your handy little 'Music Nomad MN226 GRIP Cutter' and amputate the offender at the heart, so that it can never rip through the air with its horrible discordant bleatings again! I keep it in my guitar case along with the extra strings, picks, etc. At night (I hope), when I keep it in the darkness of my guitar case, it whispers to my strings, and warns them if they continue to make bad notes. Strings that are obedient to fear are considered to be fearful.
However, what if it was excessive force? In my 15 years of playing guitar, I have come to love the Music Nomad company. I use everything from their polish, wax, amp cleaner, fret oil, and cloths, so I thought, hey, why not use their tools too, so I purchased these string cutters. I am planning to buy another pair sometime soon. I love this company and their products, so hopefully I can get a good pair that fits well.
The marketing video makes it appear effortless, but it's not quite as easy as that. Cutting blades will not cut strings when they are at the lowest point. Cutting the top half of the ring (or the highest part of the ring) will only work. In only six uses, I have already developed chips in my cutting blade, which is not going to last. Although the size and comfort of these are excellent, the functionality needs to be improved. My frustration is that this product fell short of the quality I'm used to from Music Nomad products.
I was able to get a clean close cut near the tuner because the handles are a durable rubberized grip that feels comfortable in the hand. like how it comes with a cap to keep the cutter safe and secure you could even keep it in your guitar case without any problems. The brand I chose has been a great choice for me since I looked at other brands. I would strongly recommend it.
The bass strings on a concert harp can be clipped with these without denting the wood The highest praise I can give to a string clipper is that.
I would not call them flush cut, but they are of high quality.
Strings made of nylon will not work with these. The string is only twisted, and there is no cutting involved.
