On the Torero, it should work fine. Those have a distinct FR trem to them.
You don't need to use these at all if your strings are the same size. You can tune in to whatever tuning you want by loosening the nuts near the headstock and then locking them back down. I unlock the nut and tune it to the alternate tuning you want, but leave each string slightly flat, and then loosen the fine tuning pegs all the way open so you can turn them in after locking the nut back down. These tremolo set up locks are great for changing strings or changing the string thickness while keeping the tremolo locked in place.
They're mahogany stepped blocks that let you balance trem spring tension and string tension to adjust the height of a Floyd Rose bridge. Unless I'm missing something, I don't believe there are any iron sustain blocks at all. Good luck
Yes, it works perfectly on my Ibanez and PRS guitars, as well as my strat. Allows you to float rather than block the tremolo.

These pieces don't work on any of the three guitars with flowing tremolo systems. br>Every single one of them is too small. br>Small wood chips for nearly $40 is the biggest waste of money I've ever made. br>Because they won't let me return, I'm stuck with these useless stained wood scraps.
Having said that, it comes with four different sized blocks, each with gauges that increase by 1/64" about eight times, and it'll notch perfectly if you use the correct one. It's a brilliant idea. br>I used to spend more time finding the right object to keep my bridge level than tuning my guitar, which took 30 minutes! br>It now takes around 10 minutes and is beautifully fine-tuned. br>When the block finally falls out after tuning and turning the spring claw screws, you may need to adjust the screws a little more and perhaps give the fine tuner a hint if that isn't enough, and you're good to go! br>br>Alternatively, you can leave them in and pretend you're riding a hardtail! The concept is interesting, but the execution is poor. The quality of these items has already been mentioned in other reviews, and to put it mildly; It's not good for sticking under a slab of metal when string tension or spring tension is present. Shortly after making a couple of string changes, a corner of the piece that fit nicely in the cavity of my Ibanez RG chipped off. br>br>While the tool and concept are appealing, it wouldn't hurt if these were made of a more durable material, such as hard rubber. For how brittle they are, these are also quite pricey. I can't recommend these based solely on their quality.
This has been a lifesaver for me. So I have a cheap guitar with a Floyd Rose and I could never get it to go in tune because I was always fighting the spring tension and it ended up just never being tuned so I saw a video where someone used these to hold the tremolo in place to keep everything balanced and I figured well it makes sense why not try it and the first time I used them perfect tune instantly I've used them for standard drop d drop b and drop a and a few more 1 riff tunings they are absolutely.
These blocks are expensive, but they're worth it because they're stepped and allow you to quickly and easily adjust the bridge parallel to the body or float Fender style bridges. Outside of Amazon, I've bought from Skyscraper and found Greg to be a great and rare businessman, especially when he was willing to correct a shipping error that wasn't his fault. These blocks are an investment in my guitar tools that I'm glad I made, and I'm looking forward to purchasing more from Skyscraper Guitars in the future.
My EVH was built from the ground up to be a dive-only machine. I'd never had a Floyd Rose-designed guitar before. Skyscraper Guitars was one of the top Google search results when I was looking into how to do a setup when I was looking into it. It only took me about 10 minutes to get the trem spring tension dialed in for a full float after installing, stretching, and pitching a new set of strings. br>br>This is a set of four blocks of various sizes that will come in handy on future guitars or if I ever get around to upgrading the EVH-100. Floyd Special's shoddy attempt at a sustain block was dubbed "Flatty Special's Sustain Block. ".
Restringing Floyds is a pain, especially when changing string gauges, and I have a couple of them. It's a lot easier with these tiny blocks. They're a little pricey for what they are, which are tiny blocks of wood cut to specific dimensions, but they're an incredibly useful tool nonetheless.
This item is, as other reviewers have stated, overpriced for what it is. That said, it truly simplifies the process of tuning or restringing your Floyd Rose. I'm a beginner guitarist who was able to re-learn how to play the guitar. With one of these blocks (and a guitar tuner), I was able to tune mine in 20 minutes. If you're the type who pays someone else to tune your Floyd Rose for you, these will save you time and possibly money.
