I have no idea what other reviews are here. It's nothing like what I was expecting to find. The books are in fact being returned. The price charged is not worth it.
finish of the frets is very pleasing. You will definitely get a smooth and polished texture. It has been just a few weeks since I began experimenting with different methods, so I cannot be too critical yet. However, this method appears cumbersome as you have to go through five steps per As it is, I am pleased with the results, and my first set of erasers will last for quite a while.
The frets I had were very rough. Initially, I didn't know how to use this product, so I used 30 strokes on each fret and went from the lowest to the highest grit. Then, I used Diamond Paste on the Dremel to polish them to 3000 grit. There are no frets on my fretboard! A small complaint I have is that I wish the erasers were larger. It really took a lot of effort to move my fingers.
If not, you should use a fret polish instead. You will love the erasers in your hand, and I strongly recommend starting with 2000 grit and then moving on to 1000 grit when filing. I am not a professional luthier, but I can attest to the effectiveness of these erasers My experience has been that micro mesh is much easier to use and seems to be more My four guitars have barely seen a speck of wear even after several years of use. They are likely to last me for quite some.
Compared to the paper I usually use, these worked better. I think it worked pretty well for me. I will say that, even though I can get a shine on paper, I still prefer these.
Honestly, I am not sure about the grits.
