Crap at an inflated price
3/5

Crap at an inflated price. This had odd bumps in the metal that made it look like the mold wasn't straight, so it looked more like cheap China crap than it actually was. As much as I was tempted to buy these to give my 1971 Strat a more original look, once I observed the price I paid and the fact that I can get a complete Fender bridge with full size metal block for $23, I decided against it. Despite spending just $27 for these crappy seats, I had to return them.

It's so bad for our "planet" to use chemicals
3/5

There are no words to describe what they do to their The PAT PEND plate is stamped when Fender has it tooled up. There are no longer any more discounts available since they will charge their customers TWICE what other saddles cost. is no difference in the cost of producing each. Since the plating is probably done in Mexico, the cost may be even less since they probably have them made California is not a good place to chrome plate, the chemicals are much too harmful for the environment. I would just have it done in Mexico since they follow chemical handling laws so strictly.
