A lot of the sustain and tuning stability was due to them. Since then, it has remained in tune even when bent with heavy force.
I noticed there was a significant weight difference between these saddles and the cheap ones I had on my Danocaster. The weight is about twice as much. The sound also sounded better unplugged, particularly in terms of sustain and projection. Since they compensate for the issue, their intonation can be almost perfect if not perfect. It's much taller than my old saddles so I have to buy a thin neck shim from stew Mac since that was a bit of a problem before the saddle swap. I would buy these saddles again without hesitation for another 3 barrel bridge instead of graphite.
