It should work if your Schecter has a 42mm nut and 3x3 tuners. I used a Les Paul-style neck for it. If your Super Shredder has a Strat-style neck, you'll need to look for a Strat-style Tusq. Every nut is listed in detail on the graphtech website. All you need to know is the size and arrangement of the tuners.

For a Les Paul clone and a kit neck, this is the perfect fit. 5 Stars. This is the best guitar nut I've ever encountered. I bought this for a Les Paul kit I'm working on, but I wanted to try it out on another guitar. With only minor, if any, adjustments, this nut will fit both guitars. The action finally came down to where I wanted it on the guitar I had just put it on. The tuning is much easier, and it has stayed in tune for a longer period of time. And a buzz on the G string that I'd never been able to pinpoint has vanished. In the end, I'm going to order this nut for my kit guitar again. And I anticipate it performing similarly well and with no issues. To ensure a precise fit, these nuts require a lot of measuring. This one was a slam dunk for me, and I received exactly what I needed. The money was well spent. Nut came in a nice "handwritten" note and was well packaged to protect it.
This nut is only 7mm high, while the stock nut is 8mm high. 69mm in height. So I gave this pt-back to you. 6642- 00 and found the perfect one for my eco-friendly needs. The pt-value is 256. 6143- You may need to sand it down a little, but it's well worth the effort, and it sounds fantastic on this guitar.
This was a perfect fit for my Ibanez rg120. It took a little filing to get the height just right, but it went in with a little super glue once that was done. br>I love the sound. I wasn't convinced by the claims that it made a significant difference in tone, especially in the cane of my cheap guitar. I was sorely disappointed with myself. Everything just seems to be a little bit brighter and clearer. This is a brand from which I will definitely buy again.
I've added a new rule to my repertoire: I'm not a GraphTech aficionado - replace! It's the most cost-effective and crucial upgrade you can make.
This was the perfect replacement nut for my Jackson clone. It's amazing that I didn't even have to file the slots down. The factory-supplied nut was crooked, but this one fit like a glove.
This nut's overall installed height dimension is less than I expected (I believe this is more my fault than tusq's). br>I would only recommend that you double and triple check the height dimension unless you know better. br>The "casting" quality isn't particularly impressive - After trimming the flash from where the mold ejector pins were on the bottom of the nut and finely sanding it to smooth it out, I noticed that the supposed flat bottom had pulled in in two places due to shrinkage. br>I'd think that QC would have been better given the relatively high price (for such a small piece of plastic). br>However, it is installed and appears to be functioning properly. br>By the way, the seller (Ant Hill Music) was incredibly quick with their standard delivery - incredibly impressive!.
This was purchased to replace a schecter km6. It worked out perfectly. Simply tap the old nut sideways with a light tap. It ought to detach itself. Then dab a couple of dabs of super glue on the bottom of the nut, place it on the guitar, and press down firmly for about 10 seconds. After that, tie it up with a piece of twine.
