It is one of the few that are small enough to fit on the Jackson minion so it is a good idea to change out the nut. It's amazing how much of a difference changing the nut can make, I'm really happy with the guitar now.
Changing my bone nut for a tusq xl on a guitar with a tremolo system changed a lot of things. Despite its low price, it's an excellent product.
There is a Agile 2500 guitar and pedals attached to it Here is the new nut I replaced the old one with. For it to fit, I had to sand it down a bit. My ears have not heard a lot of difference between the old nut and the new one, though I have noticed that it stays in tune longer. It is a good nut to buy if you need to buy a new one.
It has been of good quality.
For my Ibanez SZ520QM, it has the correct width and spacing between the strings.
My Jackson Minion fits perfectly with this nut and it had the best fit I've ever had. The stock nut on the Jackson Minion was terrible, so this nut was the only one that fits as snugly during setup.
Just based on the reviews, I had to test one and it worked just like they said, and it's easier to install and the sound is rich and warm. The tuning is also a lot more accurate. It has been 40 years since I have played it and it is the best nut ever. If you don't need a new one, buy it anyway.
