I didn't change anything in either the strat or the tele. I used the screws that I removed from an old tree, and they all fit perfectly.
A package containing two string trees.
I've been asked by Amazon to respond, but I've never worked with roller string trees. I can say that I enjoy the GT units and that they are well worth a shot!
The string trees are compatible with an American Special (I used them on mine).

What's not to like about these things? If you're into hot rodding your guitars, or if you're on a budget, like me, and have to buy some lower-end and used gear, this is the place to be. I began by purchasing a very inexpensive guitar to take to work and practice on during my breaks and lunches, and then I set it up and did some fret work on it, etc. , and fell in love with it. I didn't like the cheap plastid nut, so I replaced it with a tusq xl nut, and they threw the string trees at me as an afterthought. I said okay and put them in the cart, knowing they would make a huge difference because I installed them before changing the nut. They added a lot of depth to the sound and kept it going for a long time. After you've installed the XL nut (Be sure to read the descriptions on your string trees and nuts because the XL's are self-contained), The non-Xl's are not lubricating for life). When looking for a good deal, I find that the non-XL's pop up a lot more frequently, and they're fine, just not self-lubricating. To finish, I use some Super Vee Super Glide to lubricate the nuts and trees (google it and buy some!). ) What began as a $65 guitar has evolved into one of my favorites to play, and all of my other guitars now have tusq XL string trees. The Telecaster, the Strat, the Lead I, and so on.
These were easy to install as part of a project on a Squier Stratocaster, and I like how they match the tusq nut I installed. Because they're so cheap, I'd recommend them to anyone looking for minor improvements that can make a difference (in this case, tuning stability). Instead of using the included screws, I decided to reuse the ones from the original string trees. It appears that this is the simplest option.
My MIM Strat, which has a stamped metal tree, will definitely benefit from this upgrade. However, because there were two of them in the pack, I swapped out the stock G. I believe it is made of the same material as the L string tree, but the design is rectangular rather than oval. I figured that having less material in contact with the strings would be preferable, but when tuning these oval ones, I could hear the string sticking a little. So there you have it.
Any new guitar I get with string trees gets upgraded with a set of these, because the steel classic style can bind the string and cause instability. These are smooth and easy to install; simply sand the bottom to match the height of the previous string trees. When you combine a set with a graphtech nut, you'll be able to get rid of any tuning issues. If only tuning keys could be produced.
It lubricates your guitar and aids in its tuning stability. The string trees are another source of friction for your strings. TUSQ material on the string trees is fantastic, and you should use it to improve tuning stability and tone.
There are no issues. I needed to shorten the post, so I simply rubbed the base with a fine file until it passed the eye test; it's a GraphTech string tree, so performance shouldn't be an issue. It appears to be a miniature Eye of Horus or something similar. The look isn't for everyone, but it goes well with the rest of the GraphTech gear on the guitar.
Because both trees are the same size, you may need to sand one down to stagger them. Keep in mind that the tree is larger than a typical gull-proof gull-proof gullproof gullproof gullproof gullproof You might not even need to sand it once it's installed because of the wing tree. Try it out and see what happens! br>br>Excellent quality product with which I am extremely pleased!.
I was blown away by the difference in sound that a new GraphTech nut and these string retainers made to my guitar. A new Fusion guitar has arrived in my possession. From the nut to the tuners, it's designed to have a shallow pitch. The G, B, and high E strings were all jumping off the old nut. The string can't pop under it any longer thanks to their awesome hook design!.
