This vintage-inspired piece is a must-have. cloth design- It has the appearance of wax-coated guitar wire. It's well-coated, which is a plus. It's the same color and diameter as the original 1964 Fender guitar wire in my Duo-Tone guitar. Sonic. I'm really happy with it because, unlike most stranded wire, it's not made up of individual tinned strands; instead, all of the strands are twisted and soldered together, making it very easy to work with. It's ideal for repairing or refinishing your furniture. a good old pre-amplifier is wired Fender guitar by CBS.
So I used this wire to wire up my entire guitar, and I was very impressed with the push back cloth and the fact that it was pre-stained. Then it's time to have some fun. br>br> I've spent the entire day trying to figure out why there is no signal and ground issues. The wire turns out to be ridiculously brittle, snapping on a regular basis. Every wire I ran through the shielding was snapped at some point. I cut open a wire I had never used and discovered several breaks inside; again, this wire had never been used and had come out of the package broken! If I hadn't already used the majority of it, I'd request a refund. Pure nonsense and a waste of money.
This is what I used to wire my electric guitar. It's quite effective. I like how flexible this wire is and how well it holds its shape. It was incredibly simple to work with. Simply cut the outer sleeve and pull it back on itself. In four of my five electric guitars, I've replaced all of the wiring. The final guitar is still in project mode, but I'll be using this wire to restore the electronics when the time comes. I can't think of any reason why this wire shouldn't be used.
I used this wire to make a Jimmy Page setup with CTS pots in my SG. It's a very tight fit, as you can see in the photo. With all of the fitting and rearranging I had to do to get this in, most wire would have snapped, but this wire held up perfectly.
All you have to do now is get this stuffbr>and you're done.
New CTS pots and caps, as well as rewiring a guitar. This was a significant improvement over the factory wiring.
Ideal for re-use. New pickups, switches, and wiring, to name a few things.
