did a quick check to see how many I still have left after a pickup wiring project. I have approximately five left. Each color cover was 5 feet long, so there was six feet of each color. An error has been made in the ad's 3 foot statement.
The braided wire is the only wire you should use if you are going to have grounding issues. Vintage braided wire has the same cloth cover wire and is the the wire
This item is made in the United States
As far as I am aware, the set I received did not have braided ground wire shielding the cable. The push back cloth was plain and pre-shrunk A tinned product. Solders easily and is very easy to use.

My old Korean/Japanese gibson clone had to be rewired and I found this to be very useful. I find that a push back is a lot easier than taking wire strippers to rubber and it'll last a lot longer than the original stuff, where the rubber coating peeled and broke off in places over the years and caused intermittent short circuits. It is only slightly annoying when using a very short piece of wire, since you have to pull the wire free, cut the wrap, and then push the wire back through, since it is too short to do the push-through properly. Back to my old self. I had to cut a little piece of 1 inch thick to ground a pot to its own lug because the Alpha pots I bought don't quite reach. You have to push the wire back into the cloth without it catching, but that is only an issue with really short pieces of cloth.
My son made a DIY USB cable out of these wires after reading about this tweak on an online site and the sound is fantastic so I'm looking forward to seeing it improve over time. The product itself arrived brand new in a baggie, and I was pleased with the service as well.
It is functioning as expected. It is functioning as expected. When I upgrade the components in my guitars, I use this wire to connect the electronics. The wire is easier to use than the plastic coated kind and it holds its shape better when bent. If you care about that, it is also pretty much vintage spec.
It's great wire. Great wire, great price. Wish I'd seen it before purchasing the metal braided wire. When the braided kind is used, it grounds out.
Push wire like this makes a huge difference. I used it to redo my Epiphone Sheraton II's harness, and it held up well. Clipping each wire strand was easy, as I only had to pull back the sheath to reveal the bare wire. The sheath stayed back on its own, which made it easy to solder the wire tips. A guitar or luthier who wires their own instruments has to have this. It is an necessary item to have.
The stranded wire makes it very easy to work with as it comes pre-cut There is no need to strip and the braided sleeve pulls back when pulled back. This has a lot of flex, even with small pieces, but is also durable and extremely stable. Moreover, the braided sleeve extends back over the exposed wire to insulate areas that would have otherwise been exposed when the connection is soldered. The sound is crystal clear and the signal is solid, without.
This wire was used as a ground wire in a recent Strat build I did. Everything went smoothly. In terms of my wire cutters, I only have one complaint cutting the wire is a little difficult. Overall, I would say that it is a good product.
The perfect cotton push-up cloth The cloth is pushed back by cutting the wire and pushing it back. There is no need to strip wire. When the cloth is pushed back, it stays in place. This is a very easy tool This is similar to the wire used by Fender. All of the wires on my Warmoth PJ bass were wired with this cable. You can fit a few guitars in there. There will never be a time when I don't use this wire.
