It doesn't matter which capacitor you use for a pickup, because they are all the same. Some, however, use a rule of thumb in this regard. more frequently found in humbuckers than in other guitar pickups. The 047uF value is found in single coils more often. In my opinion, it has a lot of appeal. Due to the , it is best to use 047uF for singles (especially the bridge position). The 047uF caps will give you a darker tone since they bleed off more of the high frequencies. It is built to an excellent standard. There is good coating on the capacitor, as well as nice and substantial leads. As well as looking great, they sound fantastic. These devices are within spec and at the advertised range according to a multimeter. We highly recommend this orange drop product.
Nothing to complain about. Work went according to plan. In addition to upgrading the pots and wiring on an old Epiphone special I was rebuilding, I used one of these for a pair of humbuckers.
