The product I use with my classical guitars is to make them sound like the supposedly higher tuning of that era when I play Renaissance and some Baroque music. It was difficult to achieve the right intonation on an old gold capo because the rubber part was not long enough to fit across the wide neck of the classical guitar. Rosewood capos are exactly what I am looking for! You have the right inflection! This is a great book! The capo is made of brass and not rosewood, which I thought it was originally. Despite my not using picks on my classical, I do on my electric, so that was a nice bonus for me.
There's nothing fancy about this capo for classical guitar, it's just a nice rosewood option with an understated look. My question is though, why do capo manufacturers insist on using a death grip spring with A lighter spring won't damage the strings or pull the instrument out of tune as it takes no effort at all, neither will it damage the strings. So that's the way I see it.
It seems to me that this particular capo is ideal for being used with a classical This is a good one- The guitar string keeps the strings firmly down due to the very strong spring built into it There is no fret buzz at all. As part of its design, the upper string pad is long enough to cover all of your classical guitar strings in one piece. As well, I feel that the price is reasonable for the quality of it. Having not tried the picks out myself, I would anticipate that they're okay based on the looks of them. Congratulations, Wingo - I appreciate your hard work! My vote goes to you! I would recommend this to a friend, and yes, I would.
Thanks for stopping by. There are four acoustic guitars and four capos in my collection. Recently, I purchased my first classical guitar, and I needed a capo specifically designed for the larger neck on a classical guitar. As with my other four capos, what I received is the same. They are the exact same size. In the product information, it noted that the neck was suited for classical guitars with wider Works but not for me. No classical guitar is required for this. This is for a regular acoustic guitar.
I am not sure if this review will be of any help to anyone, but I received my Wingo capo in a timely manner. My playing the guitar has been on hold for many years, but I am trying to pick it up again after many years. Whenever I need to recall something I did as a teen, I find that YouTube videos, which can include words, chords, and sometimes tabs, are most helpful. Some of the people using the capo in these videos and on some TV shows are new to me, so I never used it I bought one here the first time because the price seemed right, and I've found it works, but I haven't used it a great deal. I used it to play along with a video, and my guitar was in tune with the person playing the guitar. That appears to work fine. I have an android phone app that allows me to tune my guitar properly and make sure it is in tune with others playing the guitar at the same time.
This model works great on my classical guitar, and I bought it because it is flat. The string tension is good, it holds the strings firmly in place. There are several Kyser caps, and all of them are fine, but I bought this one just because it's pretty Upon discovering that the capo has been flawlessly tuned, I felt very happy. In several review sites, it says it won't work on classical guitars past the 2nd or 3rd fret, but I tested it on two different classical guitars, a Washburn, and my Tamura, one of the most straight-forward guitars out there. The classical size and width of the Although it was a little difficult to get it to work up to the 9th fret, it finally did. In other words, it's not just a pretty picture Not only is it beautiful, but it works well as well.
It has been 35 years since I played guitar and I've never used I was searching for one that could be used with an electric or acoustic guitar as well as a classical one. Its performance on the classical is acceptable and its performance on the others is okay As far as I can tell, it is the perfect solution I had no big positioning issues or installation issues, and I also paid a great price. I rarely purchase anything that is all pros, and nothing that is a con.
