Questions & Answers

Would these work well with a 12 string guitar?

I have a Taylor 656CE 12 that fails to work properly with them. If you play over the 5th fret, they are ok, but if you play under that, they are not ok.

Using these as partial capos, as in the bottom four or top five (Drop D simulation), is possible?

Some players already use partial capos in conjunction with altered tunings, and there are a number of very fruitful combinations that can be achieved. There are advantages and disadvantages to both tunings and capos, and both are basically mirror images of each other.

The capos I see on Amazon are wide. I need something with a smaller width that does not hang in the way when changing the capo on my banjo and small neck 6 string guitar. You're in trouble! ?

I use them on my 6 string guitar as well as on my son's smaller guitar because they aren't very large.

Can this be used on a left handed guitar as well?

Thanks for your inquiry, I'm glad to hear from you. Having said that, our caps should work with either left or right handed people The guitar can be played by either hand. I hope this was helpful! A tenor uke, an electric Baritone, a Gibson electric, a 1970 Baldwin Burns electric, a circa 1960 Kay Flattop, a Taylor Mini, and a Wechter Resonator all sounded great with the Nordic Essential aluminum caps
5/5

I was able to test how the new capo would sound on a variety of stringed instruments by having them all in the same room. Playing songs on 13 different stringed instruments forced the capos to get a good workout by bending leads, sweeping, flat picking, strumming, and the like, at a variety of Each of the instruments is either a six-string or a four-string instrument. *On a scale of 1 - 10, the capo performed well To fit a 1/4" nut width tenor ukulele, you need to use a 1" fret The nut width of 3/4 inch is 3/4 inches, and everything else is 1/4 inch You're between two. Especially on the Reso, the action on the acoustics is quite high. In my case, I use Phosphor Bronze 11s and 12s On the 2 acoustics, it was 12s and on the Reso, it was 13. The strings I am using on the two Ukes are Aquila's New Nylgut strings with metal strings on the third and fourth strings. Those of a capo will notice that it is very strong and is tightly clamped onto strings. I have found that the silicone pad works very well with all instruments no matter what strings, necks, or frets I use. The capo was moved up and down the playable frets on each instrument and no issues were found no buzzing, no dead strings were present The strings rang out on all frets that could be played. It was the best of all since I did not have to re-cook it. Nice. The capo must be placed properly on the fret board, or else the strings will buzz, sound sour, or even stop playing altogether. A capo should usually sit right behind the fret in most cases. It is possible that a capo is needed somewhere between the frets on stringed instruments. The main thing to remember is that you must experiment with your stringed instrument to find out how well it will accept this or their
any capo and still remain The height and width of frets can affect how a stringed instrument sounds, and you can have different set ups for your stringed instruments. I'd say if you're still able to get the 2 Pack deal, grab The money you spend will be worth it even if you have just one stringed instrument. In addition to the capo, this package includes a handy dandy black bag for carrying. The deal is excellent. For the price point, these are great caps. It's a 5 Star product for Nordic Essential Aluminum Universal Capo. And yes, I have another order on its way.
The caps are made in China.

I have finally found something that works as it claims! A profession that makes products for a profession
5/5

Thank you for your capo review. I am sorry it took so long. A few test runs including a live performance were on my agenda. Having played for over 40 years, I've acquired a lot of experience. It's great to have capos like these. The ones you're selling are by far better than the ones costing five Fret pad, spring action, and the neck curve clamp on that guitar look like they took a lot of time and thought to make. I had no strings left floating on my electric, acoustic, and classic guitars at the end of the performance. This product was very versatile, gave me no problems when using it, and it caused my guitars no damage at all. Creating a gift out of the soft bag and box the book comes in is a wonderful idea. Therefore, I plan to buy more of them. I believe the only thing that could make the design better is a way to put an anti-virus system This device is equipped with a theft deterrent. At least twice, it was close to walking away.

This is a capo I really like
3/5

I found it to be both good looking and functional. Despite its aluminum design, I thought it was well constructed and designed, but it's a piece of plastic cleverly covered by a sticker that takes the most wear and tear! I bought this 2-in-1 because I was in need of some storage space The reason for having the electrics downstairs and the acoustic upstairs was that I kept my electrics and big amp downstairs so I could play to a larger audience. At most, I would use the capo twice a month, so I'd be using it not very It was when I went to use it for the last time that it began to fall apart. The items were purchased in September of 2018, which means 22 months with very little, casual use is just fine.

I misunderstood that these would last a long time because of the amount of wear and tear I put them through. As a result, I will probably end up spending more money buying two more capos from a more reputable manufacturer if the other one breaks down. As a consequence, it's very Even though the one piece is made of steel or aluminum, I would buy the brand again if it was upgraded to steel or aluminum. In the current state however, I am unable to recommend this capo. It is a shame, because I liked it through and through.

This is the most likely group of Capos Iron Man will use
5/5

It's the 2 I was impressed with how well packaged the caps arrived. In each capo, you will find a purse - There was also a box and a string bag. In essence, they were bagged two times and double wrapped An envelope. I already give the packaging high marks. A weight scale. As far as the design is concerned, it This is not the first time you have seen them. I nonetheless prefer this clamping design to one made by a brand I am not going to In spite of the fact that they are extremely expensive, I still bought two of them because I thought they were cute and I wanted to have This did not happen to me. Despite my best efforts, I could not get the clamping design to work. So, I never got to use them because my fretting hand hurt. I use one similar to the one I currently use on Nevertheless, this is a better option due to its lighter weight and lower cost. It complements the Natural Gloss Finish and gold hardware on the guitar, including the wider nut and wider neck. In the 6-inch scale, the RED one went to me The strings for an Epiphone Masterbilt AJ-34 I chose a Slim Taper D profile neck for this 45ME guitar, because I thought it best complemented its Vintage Sunburst "Gloss" finish. It was important for me to mention my guitars' neck profile because both caps worked perfectly, despite the difference in neck profile, width and radius. It has been noted that the red capo pictured here is different from the one pictured in the review. A person can appreciate it much better. IRON MAN comes to mind when I see these color combinations. More of these will be purchased in the future. There are a total of nine I am giving my daughter the Fuchsia and Purple.
