In a nutshell, In the many years I have played guitar, this guitar capo is one of the most durable ones I have ever bought. A frosted design makes it non-slip, as well as one that will not cause a mess of the sound when playing difficult songs due to the loose capo. As well as being applicable to ukuleles, electric guitars, and so on, this capo can also be used on guitars. The show is about to begin!.
I previously owned a capo, but the screws loosened, so it was no longer applying enough pressure to the strings and the sound was awful. I decided it was time to buy a new one, and I am very happy with the purchase! having it come with a pick as well as the opposite side to remove the bolts so that strings can be changed out.
I am in love with the capo. The bridge pin puller is better than anything else in my tool kit and is always on hand whenever I need it.
I feel very good about this.
I think this is a good deal.
It's just a However, it is not gripping tightly enough for me.
Getting a capo for my 50s deep U neck telecaster seems to be a tall order, as my regular Kyser doesn't open as far and throws some notes off, and looks like it will break if I continue to use it.
The opening is wide enough, and the clamp grips the neck securely without damaging it. Capo'd intonation isn't nearly as wonky as it would be if there was a desperate death grip. Even still, it's not quite as good as a Shubb, but those are more expensive and a little more difficult to use, and I'll probably only use this on a couple songs where I can't bar. In addition to the matte silver color, the tele's chrome adds sharpness to the overall effect. It looks like a tank and is well made. It came professionally packaged with a green medium pick and maybe a couple of instructions that I misread. It was a gamble I took but I'm glad I did.
I was more impressed than I expected to be when I received it. This is a well-made piece of furniture with a solid, sturdy structure The seat is spring-loaded and padded It is attached to the guitar neck using a loaded mechanism. I can use the capo along the neck, and none of the strings buzz as I place the capo along the neck due to the silicone pads protecting the back of the neck from scratches and distributing pressure evenly across the fret board. My overall experience with this purchase has been quite positive.
