Questions & Answers

Can it be fitted to the Fender Mustang P.J. Bass?

As long as your Mustang PJ bass has a standard length Fender bridge pickup that has a diameter roughly between 93 to 95mm, then yes, this pickup should work I appreciate your help.

Would you please clarify whether this is a price for the set with two bridges or for ?

I guess you just need one, after all, why would you want two bridge pickups? Both the bridge and neck pickups were ordered on the same order, and they work wonderfully on my Jazz bass 2004.

Could 5 string bass be used? Is that okay?

Bass with four strings, not a mandolin. These pickups are very good.

Do you think this will fit a Dean double cut? Alternatively, what recommendations would you make?

I don't know. I would go to a shop to see what they have to

Tone that is punchy and warm with a wide volume range
5/5

My 2018 Am has been upgraded with a new bridge pickup that replaces the wimpy stock one. Pbass is an electronic music artist. It was installed by a professional, so I cannot comment on the ease of installation, but I believe it would not be too difficult for a DIYer to handle. It appears that there's a high-res version as well, as the photos demonstrate The bridge was replaced in bulk, which did not fix the anemic tone and/or volume that I was getting after removing the stock PU. It is probably safe to say that your results will change without a bridge replacement. However, I find that my perception of the p/u balance has changed a lot since I had it tuned to the highest band volume. Also, there's a greater level of depth in tonal possibilities, whereas before I was hearing major unpredictable drops in sweetness, sharp low-frequency punch, or high articulation. There is something very special about this picture. It makes me curious to know how they split their Ps. Those sound like they might be good.

It is disappointing to find that the factory soldered the pieces
3/5

My plan was to build a bass using this pickup. The black wire was not attached to the pickup when it arrived. The wire was soldered back on since I have done some soldering before. At the point where I was ready to install the pickup, I fed the wires through the hole and the white wire came out After soldering it back in place, I tested continuity with my continuity meter and I found that it was intact. The pickup in my bass doesn't produce any sound once it's wired up. It is disappointing to find that the factory soldered the pieces.

It is a great sound I found the installation process to be simple
5/5

A Squire Fender P Bass is my instrument of choice. I was unable to get enough power out of both my stock pickups. By adding this pickup and the P Pickup to my bass, I was able to make it sound like it should without cranking up the preamp. It's been a long time since I used my volume knobs on my bass to get just the right sound instead of having to turn the volume up very loud on the bass just to hear it and crank the preamp as well. If you are looking for great sound, then these are THE PICKUPS for you! They are made right here in California (USA), which gives them an edge over other China-produced pickups.

I love the sound of this I expected exactly what I got
5/5

When you're at rest, the noise is a little loud, but when you're playing you don't notice it at all.

Just replacing the bridge pickup made a big difference in the tone of the guitar! The new version offers a great deal more clarity and punch
5/5

As a rule, I like to make sure my gear works before getting too attached to a high-tech new product. This is an exception to that rule. With this pickup, I can enhance the sound of my Ibanez GS-200. Even though it isn't the most impressive bass guitar out there, any musician will agree that it is solid for the price.

I replaced only the bridge pickup and wow! Does it sound great! This new version is much clearer, it has more punch and harmonics, and it seems to have a greater overall output too. My notes cut through much better, it has more sustain, and it has an overall better sound. For those of you who are curious, these fit perfectly in the GSR200. If you don't want to spend at least a few hundred dollars on a new bass, you may want to consider this if you want to improve the tone of your instrument.

The pickups are beautiful
5/5

My boyfriend ordered them for his Ibanez bass to upgrade. It was done by someone else who installed the pickups and tuned other parts of the bass, and he is happy with the results. It's been a long weekend for him!.

You are the boss here! There is no way you can go wrong with this pickup, I own a Yamaha RBX 170 bass for a very cheap price, but it is a very reliable pickup
5/5

Initially I didn't believe how good it sounded with the pickup installed, but when I got the pickup it was fantastic! Besides being clear and loud, it is also very clear and clear. This is a good product, go get it.
