This will go on a Squier Jazz Bass. I love the fit and look of it! A set of Fender knobs is what I'll be comparing them with. * * in the picture, the left knobs are Fenders and the right knobs are Kaishs. On the Fender knob the points on the screws are rounded a bit more, and the Fender knob is just a little bit larger than the screws. However, the Kaish knob has a brass insert that prevents the set screw from stripping There is no difference in feel, weight, or appearance between the plastic and Furthermore, the Fender knobs use Allen wrench set screws (which I still hadn't found the correct size for) and do not come with additional brass inserts to secure the threads of the set screw. For the Kaish knobs, you will also receive a screw driver in the pack along with the flat-head set screws. The Jazz bass knobs are a very high quality set. These ships from China, so I had to wait roughly two weeks for them to arrive. The estimated delivery date was set at 5 weeks, but the actual arrival was a few weeks ahead of schedule.
This is legit. This is legit! There are not enough good things to say Two sets bought for a 4 knob jazz I am creating, and they are great! I would expect some flash on the plastic or cheap inserts at this price, but these are well made and durable! The screws have a good weight to them, and they came with a screw driver so you don't have to look for it. If you crack the package, be sure to install them right away! We are blown away by the value and the quality of the product. The product is excellent. If necessary, I would purchase more.
It's a nice extra that I wasn't expecting the smaller tone knob makes it easier to tell the difference between volume and tone without having to reverse the device. This was a smart move by Fender when they first made these back in the 70s.
They look good and feel nice as well. A black knob isn't the only option for Fender Jazz Bass. Other colors are available as well. Do not get me wrong, I like black shoes as well.
They are tiny and are not intended to be replacements for jazz bass knobs. I am updating this post for 1/22/17- I was contacted by Kaish Music and had my money refunded. In my first review, I gave 1 star. I then added an additional star. I have updated my 2/21/17 post with a new one My review has now been spammed by Kaish Music to get me to take it down. It won't stop emailing me. And I give them an extra star because of a These emails are now sent to my junk mail Don't do it.
If I had to buy it again, I would.
It looks The looks are very good and I'm getting a lot of compliments. I have the Squier vm jazz and it fits perfectly.
