The screws that came with mine were included. These string trees weren't used by me at all. In order to retrofit an alternate model, you will have to drill a hole for a pin underneath this mechanism. In addition, they aren't very useful once they're Rather than roller style string trees, I prefer a string tree with a roller style. If you have staggered tuners, that's even better. It's okay if they aren't on.

The fact is, however, that you know this. You cannot do that! They are not rollers at all! The rollers are not to be used! What if they had just built themselves two string trees, tall enough to cover their That doesn't seem to be the case! There's nothing new here. The clips don't fit in the factory holes on the Strat, or in anything else that I can find to attach them. In addition, they are too tall for you to use them at all to keep your strings on. br> *Password- It's a pass The proposal passed It's a pass It's a pass I don't want to waste my time with this!.
This product arrived as expected and is a good product. However, I had to use different screws because one broke when screwing it in while another broke when washing. But other than that, it was what I had If you decide to buy these string trees, be prepared for their screws to be junk, but the trees were fine. We would still place an order from seller since it wasn't their fault it was a factory brand screw that was non-functioning, so we gave them.
My favorite part of these is that they are actually better than my silver Fender ones I got I find it counterproductive when two strings share one roller "axle", as on those Fender models. The purpose of these ridges is just to provide a nice smooth surface to create a little tension on the headstock side of the necknut. It is important to make sure they are dead before you use them Although they will press into your headstock when you screw them in, they shouldn't rotate the first time you align them. Instead they have a small nub on the bottom that will press into the wood. However, because the silver Fenders typically don't have them, I didn't notice them and decided to screw them down pretty deeply, then adjust the strings to tension and position them accurately before tightening. It's a great feature that silver Fenders don't have. Due to the fact that the nub had already penetrated the wood, that failed. Normally, it would just continue to guide itself back into the first indentation. So, I had to file it off.
While it was scary to add small holes to a fender head, if I didn't have to do so, I would have been able to install it easily. After I trimmed off the tiny peg, I realized I had to grind it off. However, it went in smoothly and works like a charm.
In order to replace the cheap stamped out string guides that came with my Deluxe Players Stratocaster, I ordered these string guides. There used to be a binding for the old ones, but these are smooth as silk. It was a pretty straightforward process to install the software. They come with a "pin" on the underside, which requires you to drill a small hole in order to reach As you tighten the screw, you will see a mark where you need to drill where you started the screw, held the guide straight, and then tightened the screw slightly. You now need to back the screw off so the guide is out of the way, drill the hole and put the guide back straight so that the pin goes into the hole, tighten the screw, and you are done! Using the same screw hole is not a problem if you remove the existing one first. Despite being a day ahead of schedule, Amazon delivered this part to me. It's been a while since I've dealt with them, but I haven't experienced any problems. My sincere thanks go out to.
