Basic Wiring Harness Kit For Jazz Bass US Spec Pots .047uf Soviet Paper In Oil Cap

All the components were excellent quality. It is crucial to have paper in oil capacitors. After rewiring my bass to try to fix the issue I found out it was the old ceramic tone capacitor that was causing the problem. Apparently there was nothing wrong with the other components. So I simply replaced it with the one with paper in oil from this kit and my desk is functioning properly again. For now, I have put the rest of the pieces away in case I need them down the line. The parts themselves and the wiring diagram that they included were of high quality and very easy to follow.

Alpha pots come with this kit and are very good. Cap also came with it and I love With my Aguilar pickups, it sounds great. Unfortunately, I hadn't thought about the pots being short shaft on my J bass pickguard. The controls on my bass are through the body of the bass. Everything's working except the mini pots have standard shaft height, so I have to order standard shaft pots as well. That's too bad. As well as sanding the back of the pots, you will need to use some flux on the back of the pots to get the.

You will not find a better value for your money elsewhere. A Soviet cap, full sized pots, and 1/4" shafts on pots were used. No problems at all.

In addition, the tone of the sound is slightly dull, not clear because the capacitor is too big. There are a few pots in the store, none of which are particularly good. It ended up that I needed to replace the capacitor since I was simply dissatisfied with My Fender Jazz bass guitar MM was used for this purpose.
