I have ALL of my tripods, stands, and much more in it. The case is really excellent in every respect. In my mind, I was about to buy a less expensive case that would have carried much less, but I decided to buy this monster case, or to put it another way, we call it 'The Coffin' because you can easily fit two people inside. In a sense, yes, it does kind of look like a coffin. Just trying to be as realistic and proportional as possible. I like it a lot, but it's off-topic. In my position, I am a video production professional. Because I am in video production, I can easily assign a 5-star rating We now have 10 light stands in that bag, as well as 2 tripods, for which we used to make a few trips to and from the van The items in this case are now just stored away. I just love it. And of course this makes you look a lot more professional than just having everything loose or even on a dolly of some sort, just in.
There was some question as to its Please read if you want to carry a lot of heavy gear in this case. This is a great case for a lot of LIGHTWEIGHT gear (six or more DW5000/9000 stands). The internal straps, the 3 latches, etc. , are excellent features, but the bag feels flimsy in comparison. Due to the size of the case, the lid hinges are unusually small the material used for the lid is relatively thin and the handle and wheels are mounted with adhesive. Is plastic safe? This piece of equipment could actually hold a lot of gear, so I was glad to combine it with my other gear. When I put the heavy drum hardware inside and lifted it, it worked as it should. Just when it seemed like it was going to break, it broke. How did it go? Not at all. I do not trust it, but I am not sure what to do. A unit of this price should not put me in the position of guessing whether or not it would fall apart. The above are only my initial impressions. I did not thoroughly test it. Personally, I'm interested in something that can withstand the toughest conditions on the road and hold up to the elements for years to come. I have returned to the hunt and will look in other places. My guess is that it would work well for mic stands, racks, and other similar gear that falls into the medium/light category.
Despite this, it is very easy for it to be overloaded. The truth is that if you are flying on most airlines today, you will have to pay extra if you go over 70 pounds (which in this case will be easy). It weighs 100 pounds, so you won't be able to fly with it. Mic stand cases are not used in our studio. As a filmmaking gear storage facility, we use it. We used it for our first trip with 105 pounds of grip gear, and there was no reason it couldn't handle Some of the items had to be moved in order to ensure that we could ferry them to our destination. There have already been multiple trips to several nations. been worn on the outside since the first time I used it with an airline, but what case isn't after one use? It's definitely worth the money.
The bag is big enough to fit all my stands, extension cords, reflectors, booms, tripods, even a pair of two The LED panels are 500 in number. The only caution I would have is not to overload it and to stick to its weight limit since it is not reinforced.
This is great! This is a great case, very sturdy and easy to move around. I bought it about a year ago and use it all the time. It is still going strong. In order to travel with his Yamaha Tyros 4, my son needed a case. Nothing could be found that would fit my needs in a timely fashion. This case was built to last. For the Yamaha Tyros4 arranger, the measurement was successful. Memory foam lined the liner and belts were used to strap it. During the trip, everything was in perfect working order. This is great!.
Your heavy equipment can be easily loaded into a vehicle and transported to the stage by using this stand. I can fit my two heavy items in it My opinion is that there is no better choice for a hard case for your expensive and heavy It's a good idea to buy this case if you hate hauling your hardware in pieces by hand! This is a trip you will not regret.
Whenever I use heavy light stands and large softboxes, I roll this case to protect them. A bit cumbersome). If you are going to carry a lot of gear and stands with you to a shoot, I would recommend this.
They are straps used to hold down the torso. There hasn't been a time when this thing hasn't saved me. In this case I store every piece of my kit (minus drum shells, of course). Everything was perfect from the hardware to the rug to the seat to the stick bag to the kick pedal. The best part, aside from the size, is the tie-down system. As the tie-down system includes heavy duty DW 5000 hardware, this puppy gets heavy. However, I only have to carry it one time and have no worries about my gear getting lost. They are straps used to hold down the torso. By using this, you can be sure all the gear is secured and won't get damaged during This is one of my favorite cases. Again, the SKB is victorious.
