Yes, I understand. I don't think you have to worry if you don't have a Mustang Bass.
It looks like the Steve Harris precision bass is the perfect fit for Due to the width and depth of the guitar, wider basses such as the Epiphone Jack Cassidy semi hollow bass will not fit.
My knowledge is that there is none

This case seemed like it would be ideal for my Fender Mustang Bass, and I hoped that it would be the right There is conflicting information on the web regarding how well this case fits "most Fender electric bass guitars," so I decided to take a chance. I LOST MY MIND. The fact of the matter is that despite this case appearing to be everything I could ever ask for in a guitar case, a Mustang Bass is too small to fit in it. A scaled-down version of Its neck is too short, and it's a little too narrow in the body. Due to the neck length of the guitar, the headstock won't fit inside the case, at least not without the base of the neck leaving its intended position inside the case. To summarize, this is not the case you want if you want to protect your Mustang Bass. If you know of any recommendations, please let me know. As I said, I still leave it at 4 stars, since it looks/feels like it'd make a perfect case for an P or J bass.
It is my preference to use this hard-shell, molded case for my Fender Precision, Jazz, and Jaguar basses (I have all 3 and they fit with no issue). However, I do not like that Fender raised the price by $40 Sweetwater set me up with a new one at the original price before I bought a new one from Amazon (I was going to buy another one from Amazon, but my sales engineer at Sweetwater found me a discounted one for 99).
There was no expectation that this case would surpass it. These cases are lighter than the previous generation of Fender Deluxe hard cases, and have a nicer interior that feels and looks great, and offer better protection for the hinges because they now have In addition, these prevent the unit from being knocked over when you place it on its As well as the split between the top and bottom being closer to 50/50, it allows the top to be thicker and better protected by the lid. Featuring ultra-smooth latches and a recess that prevents accidental opening, they are very safe and secure. The price was well worth it.
My first American Professional P bass came with a molded bass case from Fender, and it's my second one. Case is perfectly sized to fit the phone for perfect comfort, with a plush interior lining that feels luxurious to the touch. You'll feel as comfortable as possible playing your instrument on this soft cloth. Each and every time you place your bass on it, you will want to remove the strap. It has enough space to store a couple of cables, a strap and three 3-inch tripods Each pedal has four holes. Ensure that the knobs of your pedals are at the correct height. It is located under the neck, so there isn't much headroom in the enclosure. If you know your bass is going to be banged or moved around frequently (such as in an automobile) this case is the perfect choice. Its weight makes it heavy and it takes up a lot of This is a great travel and gig item. This is a cumbersome, bulky, but extremely clean and safe device. This is recommended!.
I'm very pleased with the fit and security of my bass (Fender with a P neck and Jazz body). I am satisfied with the quality of the construction. As soon as I return home, I will provide you with an update. ****Update 10/19*** Case and guitar arrived with no scratches, dents, dings or dents. Whether you have a Fender Precision or Jazz bass, this is THE case for you. Musical instruments are particularly vulnerable to air travel, and I am not certain I will decide to take another flight. Although it is one of the most suitable options at this price range.
It's been more than ten years since I bought my Fender Jazz and wanted to safeguard it. Every weekend, I play music with a band that travels about 100 miles There is a 200 mile drive to the When I haul the bass, sometimes I load it on my truck and sometimes I load it on my Only three basses are on my stage, but I carry the rest Buying this case for this bass was for the possibility of something falling on it in the trailer. The Fender is my favorite bass and I use it most of the time. It has happened to me before that other guitars have been damaged with this method, but the hardshell case will prevent that from happening again. The storage area is large enough to hold my tuner and other small items that It fit the jazz perfectly, and I am impressed with the quality of the construction. While it is expensive, it is also the price of what is protected inside. When I was a kid in the 80's, my 1978 Richenbacher was run over by two vehicles by accident and it was in a hard As it turns out, the guitar lived, so I decided to buy a hard case for it.
This product still deserves a 4 star rating.
Although this Fender case is the most protective, it is not as beautiful as the Taylor case. I have hard cases by Taylor and Gibson. On the Gibson case, the glue on the backside (rear) of the opening side is not flush enough with the edge. There are no issues with this Fender because it is rectangular and is hard plastic, as well as looks like and feels like a tank!.
