Yes, it is. I already had a custom V bass with a 35" scale neck, so I did not have a problem using it on the Epiphone with its shorter scale neck.
I really like the foam that it's made of, it's thick and great for gigging
Selected User Reviews For Extra Thick Flying V Bass Guitar Gig Bag/soft case
I made this Flying V bass for my son from a kit, and this was the only bag we could find for it. This is a sturdy bag with a good amount of padding and at least two pockets for basic items. As soon as it was removed from the bag, it had a funny rubbery smell. This smell has slowly faded but is still detectable. The axe has grown to be his favorite. We're glad to see him get something for it.
The case is beautifully made and provides plenty of storage space. It is the case I have been trying to find for a long time. Despite being strong and functioning well, the zippers do not break. There is a good amount of padding on the inside that offers bass excellent protection. This case fits the Flying V perfectly, with the case actually a few centimeters longer than the bass itself, which, I must admit, surprised me as every case I have tested so far I highly recommend this product.
