Questions & Answers

Does it work with the Yamaha APX500 III?

The one I installed took up 25 square feet The year is I had to sand down an old Yamaha acoustic so I could make it thinner and shorter. It works well but I have to play it a little differently. To ensure the bone saddle fits properly and without getting stuck, you should first remove the plastic saddle and measure its size. If its size is close to the bone saddle's, you should sand it down until it fits correctly I wish you the best of

I have a Yamaha FG-1300 and I was wondering if it would fit Does 461-461s exist?

Hi! *br> *br>We looked at that model online, but there were a lot of variations in the saddle. If you would like to contact them, please email [email protected]. Please send us a close-up picture of your current saddle so we can see the compensation pattern, as well as the length, height, and thickness. Using this information, we should be able to tell you if what you are looking for is in our inventory.

My bike is a Yamaha FD02. It is from the mid 2000s. The saddle is 76 inches wide. The length of this nail is 9mm. Could this be used in place of the previous model?

In short, yes. Using a Yamaha from 1992, I was able to get good results after a little sanding

Is this real unbleached bone or one that has been ?

I'm here. There are no dyes in it. It is real bone, not bleached.

This saddle will suit you
5/5

We are confident you will be delighted with our services. This is part of the package I brought to go with my Yamaha FG840 and my Yamaha FG830- I am sharing my thoughts with you. Why did Yamaha decide not to include bone saddles on these guitars? the guitar does sound good with its plastic saddles, but has too many shortcomings to recommend it. It had a bright sound that sounded thin and tinny, but it had a nice full sound that seemed to keep growing in volume when I strung harder. It would be just the buzz from the strings that I would hear. If you want to buy this guitar, don't be discouraged by the plastic saddle. It was an excellent choice for me when I bought it. There are oversized bone saddles when they arrive, which is to be expected, and instructions on how to remove the saddle so that it fits in your guitar are included with the seller. In the end I had to sand for approximately 10 to 15 minutes to get the action of both guitars back to where it was when I bought them. Although it's a little higher action game, you can play it easily. As well as the ebony bridge pins, I also installed brand new 2 string ebony bridge pins on my 6 string guitar, but I'll discuss Both guitars sound so different now! I just can't believe how different they are! It is beyond no doubt that both guitars sound richer after a new saddle is installed. The plastic saddle is gone, and I can hear more sustain, more bass response, and a bell-like chime and high end shimmer on the 12 string than I ever heard from it before. There is a much louder volume even when the strings are not as vigorously sounded. The saddles I purchased are fantastic, and I am 100% satisfied with them. I also noticed that the intonation is much better now. I recommend purchasing this saddle you will not be sorry.

The material is easy to work with
5/5

I like that idea a lot. So far, this is the best saddle for me, in terms of sound transmitted to the bridge, as well as the ease of working down the saddle to the correct height. Having only installed one TUSK, I can only speak to how it compares to anything else. A few files and a high speed rotary device have helped with the first round of grinding, so I use those tools. From start to finish, I had no problems keeping the bottom edge of the bone perfectly flat due to how easy it was to grind it. It seemed to melt rather than grind when I used Tusq. You may be able to do better if you have better tools. The final sessions were a challenge for me because I had to recover at length to get the bottom edge flat. It remained flat to the bottom as it rested on the bone. There is a significant difference in sound quality and I was able to tell immediately that bone sounds better. I found this one to work very well and to sound great. There are others that cost less, but I cannot say whether they are a better value. However, the difference between these and this one is small enough that I would probably do it again, rather than taking the chance that I would have to order this one again anyway after discovering another less wonderful product.

MacNichol Bone saddles are to be praised
5/5

Several weeks ago, I ordered a bone saddle from MacNichol for my Yamaha FS800. Bone saddles for acoustic guitars are cut by a company called guitarsbybone. com . Although I did not have to do a lot of sanding and adjusting, I was concerned that it would not fit properly. I needed to tighten up the saddles on my guitar that came too loose from the factory, and I also wanted to improve the tone. Exactly three days after the order was submitted, I received the bone saddle. The item fit perfectly once it was installed. There were no issues at all, it sounded better than my acoustic guitar which was a decent sounding guitar before. I am glad I got The capo is also compensated, so you don't have to retune it when you move from point A to point B. In my 82nd year, I retired from that of a professional musician. Some of my solo gigs are still going on. Yamaha guitar company builds an SS800 acoustic for only $199, and I would like to give them a plug. The sound is excellent, the playing is good, the volume is excellent, and there is a good amount of bass. Click here to see it! The author is Wayne I am Smith, Sr.

FG Junior JR1 and FG 331 Yamaha
5/5

The guitar I'm playing is a little Yamaha with Vintage Bronze Extra Lights from Dean Markley. Their age range is 10 to 12. The product sounds different, and I feel it feels nicer. I have no idea if it sounds "better" but it does sound different. Would it perhaps sound more even if it were rephrased? It used to sound dead and quiet when I played my three low strings. The guitar does not sound louder to me, but I think perhaps the sound is more projected like that? In the end, it sounds like there is slight reverb in the overall sound. To get it as short as the stock plastic one, I had to sand quite a bit off the height, but the plastic one was thicker and wider, so it actually filled in the slot in the bridge. It had a size of 74mm x 2, which was the size I had in stock. Eight millimeters and eight inches are about the same size. At its tallest point, this item is 1mm tall. After sanding the new one down to 7, it was ready to paint. There is one point on the top that measures 9mm. It would have been better to choose 8 instead. At the 12th fret, all my strings go slightly sharp. However, according to my tuner, they all go sharp about the same amount. If I were to solo (which I do not) that would make the sound very It's been a while since I checked this with the old saddle, so I'm not sure if it has changed. Yamaha 2D slotted are correct for these) He also dyed a brown saddle I sent him to match my bridge saddle and it looks fantastic! This saddle was so nice, I bought another one for my 1980 Yamaha FG 331 that had a plastic Martin saddle that didn't even fit right for more than 20 years, but sounded and played fine but wasn't as comfortable to play. Now it sounds and plays so great! I feel as if I have a totally new There's still some setting up to be done on the neck, but the intonation is getting At the 12th fret, it is a little flat. To arrange for both of my guitars to be set up professionally, I'm going to take them to a guitar shop. If I were to choose I would love a bone nut for my Yamaha full-size, and perhaps an ebony nut for my little Yamaha to make it unique? Is it possible I will receive both bones at once?.
