Blank space to work with
5/5

Fender Kingman electric acoustic bass saddles are hard to find and they're typically bulky to order. I decided that I should make my own since there are only a few of them My first step was to find the size/shape that would work best for my needs. After cutting off one end, I rounded the ends with sand paper, and then I used a combination of sanding and filing with a flat file to achieve the depth I required. It was cut with a triangle file to make very slight detents for the strings (which match the original) and incorporated into the design. Under the saddle of the bass, there is a Fishman piezo pick-up, in comparison to the original plastic bridge, which had problems with the sound being uneven from some strings. As a result, the sound from my bass has been quite even since I changed the saddle, and I've been getting many compliments about the sound. Having a much better saddle takes a little time, but it's not difficult. It took me about an hour to get a new and much better.

The Graph Tech Tusq Acoustic Saddle looks good with almost any saddle
5/5

In my experience, there are no negative things to say about Graph Tech or their Tusq products. I am not a paid spokesperson or a representative of my employer. It's a good product that's backed by a good company. It is difficult to find a better support system than theirs. Since re-installing the bridge pins, nut, and saddle on my 35+ year old guitar, I've noticed a marked improvement in sound and playability. You can really hear a difference in your guitar following the use of their products. The products are very good and I would definitely buy more from them in the future. As a matter of fact, I just bought their Tune-Up I have ordered a set of automatic saddles for my electric guitar, and I will review them when they arrive.

Adding this to your guitar would be a good idea
5/5

Adding this to your guitar would be a good idea. Moreover, I think it would be helpful to increase the volume and sustain. A $500 one is available to me. The range is between $200 The improvements are apparent in both the 00 and 00 guitars. This is the source of supplies and you can order them from Ant Hill Music. A letter from Ant Hill was sent after USPS lost my first shipment and he was great about communicating and coordinating a replacement. We have received the second item after three working It's great to be here.

The tone is quite impressive for a replica of composite bone
4/5

Until I noticed that each saddle blank would need some tweaking and fine tuning to fit my acoustic bass, I didn't realize that it would need to be fine-tuned to fit my instrument. In any case, with just a bit of sanding, which was quite easy to do on a flat square of sandpaper, I was able to sand the height of this saddle AND the thickness of it to fit into my guitar's saddle channel. My understanding of this composite is limited by its density In comparison to the original cheap plastic saddle, the saddle pickup bar makes much better contact with it. The bottom line is that the sound from this saddle is much stronger and clearer. The product is excellent As with it's "sister" product the Tusq bridge, which I also replaced at the same time, this bridge has a huge difference in sustain and tone!.

We prevented ourselves from going to a luthier and saved some money
5/5

My Olympia by Tacoma Acoustic Bass bridge saddle could easily be replaced with this product. It required minimal effort. All I had to do was cut the length and sand the saddle with wet sandpaper for A quick and easy process that can be completed in half an hour, including re-working The stringing process.

Your experience with saddles has led you to believe that they are only for the wild
5/5

It's another masterpiece from Dave Dunwoodie! This finely tuned high-frequency is a waste of time This saddle from our pressure laminate acoustic guitars sounds great when placed on a solid surface, and its like all TUSQ materials. You can cut it and fit it easily.
