Questions & Answers

The bridge would probably be a little narrower if I tried it? If each end wouldn't fit, you could probably file it! For great sound, a minor adjustment is all you need! You've got nothing to lose but your time!

What size will this fit on my ?

Thank you for contacting me, William. I haven't changed my bridge insert for some time, but I recall it working just fine. Additionally, I filed the bottom of the violin to make it even lower so that I could use my light touch and strings. You should notice an increase in resonance, sustain, and projection after having implemented these changes. Have fun!

There is almost no room for improvement
5/5

My Yamaha NTX700 was the perfect match for this cable. This is to say that it needed a little sanding to Because you want a nice, snug fit, this is the best way to do it. I am not sure if this makes a difference. There's a bit more volume now, and I lowered the height a little so that the action is more responsive. As a whole, I consider this to be a great guitar mod that is easy to do.

The saddle on the Hohner HC06 was changed
5/5

As a result of changing the plastic saddle on my Hohner HC06, I noticed a small change in the sound, but not enough to make me very concerned. I felt the product was worth getting just for a little bit of change, however it was not on sale. The saddle in the slide does need to be filed a bit in order to fit inside, as well as filed down a short distance to have the same action height as the older My intention was to bring down the action by filing it down a bit lower than the older one.

It is a bridge saddle I am happy with
4/5

As a result of cutting the saddle down on a new guitar, the action was too high. It's an Oops! The amount is a little excessive. In order to replace my previous one, I got this one. As with the previous one, I had to shave it down too, however I was a bit more conservative in my approach this time. I am overall pleased with the tone and It isn't that much of a leap up and down between this and the stock bridge, but its also not that much less I like the sound of that!.

Adding to the historic features of Tusq is the classical bridge
5/5

I want to let all classical guitarists and acoustic players know that if you haven't tried a Tusq bridge insert in your guitar, you're not getting the most out of it. A new one just went in my Yamaha CG 170 classical guitar (pretty cheap the guitar! little guitar of mine has experienced a marked increase in tone, presence, and harmonic content. You will be amazed at the difference when you try Tusq saddles. It might sound so good if you've stopped loving the sound of your acoustics. These products may help you reconnect to your acoustics again. It's hard for me to imagine myself being a politician or.

This saddle is from the Graph Tech line of guitars I love it
5/5

On a Yamaha practice guitar, at 00) The installation process is simple. A month has passed since I started playing with the new saddle. We have noticed a great deal of improvement. As promised by "Graphtech", it does all that it says it will Rather than enhancing harmonic content, it increases sustain. Among other things, the guitar sounds better and the tonality on higher frets is a lot better. We were really pleased with how the results turned out. In a few weeks, I'll replace the saddle on my other guitar with this one.

This saddle is the same as any cheap plastic one on classical guitars
3/5

The plastic saddles on classical guitars are cheap and wear out quickly, so I replaced them with cow bone saddles. Now, the sound is a lot better and the sustain is far.

It sounds best on steel string acoustic guitars when made of this type of synthetic material.
