A saddle adjustment will be carried out differently for each guitar since each guitar will have a unique neck angle, neck relief, and action height, so there is no standard Nonetheless, the saddle will most likely be of sufficient height since it was designed to be tall enough for the majority of users to make it more comfortable, then reduced as required. There may be a need to adjust to meet your own preferences. The purchase will be refunded in full if the height was not appropriate. What is the height of the saddle you are currently using?

This is a bright sounding bone
4/5

The saddle fit perfectly with minimal sanding and adjustment, and the order and delivery went without a hitch. In any case, I bought these for my Martin HD-style stereo system Earlier this month, I ordered a replacement bone saddle from Martin as a quick replacement to the one I was using. My saddles have undergone several changes over the years, and I experiment constantly with material, saddle height, intonation, and other adjustments. I sometimes wish to start from scratch and buy a new saddle. I did notice that, compared to the bone saddles I received from Martin, these were noticeably brighter, and I confirmed that this wasn't just in my head by repeatedly swapping the saddles between amps and recording the results. There was a great deal of similarity in the height, and I would think that both saddles should have the same tone, as well. In these ones, the sound was much brighter and almost sounded like TUSQ (but I know that they are bone since I worked with the material which has *I don't mean to imply that these are not bone. *I'm saying that these aren't bone. This is the case. My observation is that the one I received, for whatever reasons, sounded really bright, unlike any other bone saddle I've ever used. The saddle worked well, but its design wasn't exactly what I was looking for. Therefore, I rate it four stars because it gave me a reasonable return policy. In fact, it might have been ideal for someone seeking a middle ground I don't think there is anything wrong with this product. There was just something off about it, and I believe it has something to do with bone, since it is a natural material and therefore may be It does not matter what type of bone was used. I am only concerned about the quality of the bone used.

It has worked well for me on my My Martin D18 is the perfect fit
5/5

Despite the fact that it looks identical to the existing one, I didn't want to sand my OEM saddle in order to get lower action. There's a lot of material you have to take off in order to reduce height, but you're never going to get the exact height you want. The process of sanding took about two hours with the included paper. By knocking away the bone dust on the strip of sandpaper, you can keep it working throughout the project. For measuring your progress in reference to the saddle you are replacing, I would recommend using calipers. In order to keep resonance with the body, you should sand your saddle as flat as you can. Holding the saddle against a thick yardstick while sanding, I placed a book on my lap and held the book against the thick page. It's important to be patient, and you can listen to some music or watch TV in the background if you need some distraction.

This is an awesome bone saddle
5/5

The saddle from this brand is incredibly well-crafted and can easily be customized to fit an individual perfectly. As described, the dimensions are exact. The width and length of my bridge were almost perfect, and the surface needed a relatively minimal amount of Since I needed to remove about 5mm from the height, I spent a lot more time sanding. With the saddle, a hand sander is included, but its size is too small for large amounts of material removal. This made the job much easier since I bought a full sheet of 100 grit sandpaper. In addition to this, they also offer a video that shows how to modify it correctly, so that it is pretty foolproof. The process is simple enough for anyone to accomplish. It is virtually foolproof to know that if you replace a standard plastic or Tusq saddle, the tone will immediately improve. The highs are brighter and the lows are full and resonant. Changing your acoustic guitar's strings is a great improvement, and it's well worth the cost.

The LX series from Martin fits perfectly with this
5/5

One or two of my Martin guitars are Martins. To replace the bone saddle on my LXME, I purchased this item. A lot of the string parts of the stock saddle were worn down. In the past couple of years, deep grooves had been cut out. I was getting a lot of buzz between my bad intonation and the bad intonation. It was because it was denser and stronger than the leather saddle that I chose it and I was hoping it would last longer without getting so deeply They new bone saddle feels much more rigid and strong than the previous ones. I could not have fit it into the bridge better. I was pretty impressed with how big it was. In order to adjust my old saddle to low action, I made it very short. My new saddle came with a sheet of sand paper with a 120 grit, and this was sufficient for sanding it to the height I wanted. The sound of my guitar sounds much better than it did before (I've found YouTube videos showing you how to do this). After saying it down and comparing to my old saddle and installing new strings, I realized what I was missing. The buzz in my voice has gone away, as well as my intonation. I am having trouble finding an appropriate translation for this sentence. My hope is that it will last longer than my stock saddle, but even if it only lasts as long as the stock Tusq saddle it was a great deal.

I am very happy with the quality and fit of this item! A competitor's bone saddle for Martins and other guitars costs $30, which is comparable to the high quality of this product

It is important to take your time to ensure that your golf club fits correctly and is of the appropriate height for your style of play. The process takes a lot of time, but it is Depending on the season in your part of the world if you live on a continental continent, you can easily make both a higher and a lower saddle for your guitars for this price.

This is an awesome bone saddle! Regardless of what type of bone saddle you have, you'll have to have it customized to The old saddle served as a gauge for how many grits I needed to sand out of the new one
5/5

Previously, I had a saddle with too low a sanding depth for a high E/B/G side, so this time I had it corrected. This guitar has been my possession since 1978, but it now sounds remarkably better than it has over the last fifteen The intonation and clarity are perfect. The acoustics are a bit bright originally, but that's how it was. (Washburn D- 1977 I am a woman between 20 and 30 The copy of a Martin D series).

The length and width of the picture are both perfect
5/5

Neither the saddle's length nor width is too long or too narrow. The reason for the pick-up is the following Unless the saddle sits higher than it should because of an up wire on the bridge, the saddle sits much higher than necessary. The pick should be retained instead of removed To adjust the trod height, I sand it down to as low a height as possible after adjusting the height. I imagine it is the perfect shim without using a pick or height sanding if you do not have one The bridge has been shimmied up.
