The bass strings are not compensated. I would like to see a picture of your current saddle. Please send it to [email protected]. I may have a saddle that matches yours. Please let me know if you are interested.
I'm here. It would seem that this compensation pattern would be different from Gibson doves from the 1990s, based on images found online. Furthermore, the radius of your fretboard needs to be taken into account. Gibson models usually come with 12 inch radius fretboards, but some come with 16 inch radius fretboards. Please contact Gibson at 1-800-547-0189 for more information. The 800-number Ask 4GIBSON for the radius of the fretboard, and the length and thickness of the saddle for your model by providing them with your serial number. If you could send those details and a picture of your saddle to info@macnichol, that would be much appreciated. Please contact us at com and we can see if we have a saddle that might work for you. I appreciate your kind words.

It's all right to be confused, Allan. You don't know what 628/12 represents. The "12" indicates that there is a 12 inch radius to the circle, right? If that is the case, then the answer is no. With a radius of 16", this Dumelagr saddle is impressive. In the descriptions of these parts, the radius (which is so important) is usually overlooked. Assuming that the "12" does not mean that, and you have a 16" radius guitar, the MM and 71 dimensions of the new Dumealagr saddle should suit your needs. Approximately 75 x 9 inches. Two-fifths of five times two. You should check the dimensions of your original saddle (could it be My best wishes go out to you. Theme *Bill

My Gibson SJ200 Rosewood came with this satin saddle and I ordered it directly from the company I was contacted by the seller by email before I received the product Specifically, I was asked how high I need my SJ200 to be. Upon determining the saddle would not meet my guitar's height requirements, Michael of MacNichol Guitars (the seller) informed me that it would not work. My friend presented me with a saddle made out of polished bone. Despite my receipt of the satin saddle first, he shipped me the polished saddle first. The fact that he emailed and replied to my inquiry was really helpful I was in regular contact with you. As far as Amazon transactions go, this was the finest I've ever encountered. As far as this transaction was concerned, Michael went beyond what I would have expected. The amount of gratitude that I owe him is insufficient. Now I get to give a product review. The satin saddle I received was gorgeous and durable, so I wanted to share it with everyone. A flawless performance. However, I did not drop it into my guitar so I can say only that it is of exceptional I received the polished bone saddle along with two bone and wood handles a couple of days later We have one buffalo horn bridge pin to offer you. A beautiful bridge pin as well as a polished saddle made up the bridge. My saddle was sanded down with the sand paper included in the package and it looks great now It took me less than 20 minutes to shape it. Drop the saddle in and secure it with a rope As I restringed my guitar, I strummed a G chord, and I decided to play the song. Sound quality was so much better I could not believe it. As soon as I put the saddle on my guitar, it opened up the sonic bliss of my guitar with a nice deep chrism It's a no-brainer that you'll benefit greatly from a MacNichole Guitars polished bone saddle if you want to improve the tone of your guitar. The picture is absolutely stunning, and I've never seen anything quite like it My Super Jumbo was transformed into a tonal monster with this. I couldn't be happier with it. There's no better way to describe my feelings. We are grateful for everything you have done, It won't be the last time I shop here!.
I chose it because it fit my particular 2014 Gibson J-750 perfectly For some reason, I had inadvertently lowered the saddle height down too much. By the grace of God, this dropped in at just the right time for my situation. Having said that, it is not as tall as the Gibson factory When replacing your saddle to get a lower action (or if you prefer bone vs. TUSQ), this would be the right choice Depending on whether or not you need a full height replacement, this may or may not be appropriate. I am confident that this will be an excellent option for you as well as for me (over literally 200 Gibson acoustics over the years). We ship fast and our products are top-notch. When I need more of them, I will order more 5-packs It's a star.
Installing this second saddle is nothing new for me. Just a couple of days ago I installed a new saddle on a Martin CEO 7 as I wanted to I was pleased with how well the saddle worked. It only took a little sanding to make the saddle slide in and another little bit to cut the saddle shorter than the original and it worked. It is compatible with my Gibson J45, so I ordered another for it. The results were the same as before. It also improved the sound thanks to the Bone material.
After just a tiny bit of sanding, I fitted it into my '16 Gibson LE Red Spruce/Figured Mahogony Special J-style guitar Although I didn't get exactly what I wanted tone wise, I will give it a little bit more time since this is a brand new guitar. The bone saddle did soften the tone a bit, which I was expecting from a bone saddle. There's no better way to tame a bright guitar than with this! point out that the mellowing has not been extreme, and is quite subtle. Give it 5 out of 5 I give it five stars for the high quality and the fact that it does exactly what it says!.
Sand paper is included, which is a very thoughtful touch. The tone is very good. Here's an update. These saddles will replace all of my acoustic saddles. I am impressed with your Customer support and customer relations are excellent. The product is also excellent.
Having known Michael and MacNichol for many years, I am confident that they are trustworthy. His professional advice is something I have valued for a long time. I always buy my bone saddles from him as well. It is rarely necessary to refine configurations to get them to fit exactly into the bridge, since they always fit very well. We go above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. Supporting a small business is also important. My purchases from Macnichol will continue as long as they satisfy my needs.
I was able to use the saddle on my Gibson J-150 The well is 15 wells deep, I had to sand the saddle to lower the action to a comfort height for me and to determine how it should look and sound on the guitar, but it is of high quality and works beautifully. The product is of great quality.
The saddles MacNichol makes are so convenient and so well made! In order to finish the bone and shape the saddle, a small piece of sandpaper is always included. It is with these saddles that most of the work is done, and there is enough material to shape and intonate them according to need.
