Product Description

This is a PQL-5010-00 sized guitar adapter that fits many Fender style electric guitars with a 1/8 inch slot. Easy to install, it features pre-slotted slots for quick and easy installation.
Tuning Advantage TUSQ XL is made from the same material as TUSQ but with an extra layer of PTFE that makes it five times more slippery than graphite. This material brings out the hidden harmonics of your guitar while greatly improving tuning accuracy.
There are no dead spots when using TUSQ XL. It is consistent from piece to piece, and within each piece, so that you can achieve harmonically rich voices
The Graph Tech nuts are easy to install because they have a little extra length and height to ensure a good fit. You should sand the bottom of the nut for height adjustment and the ends of the nut, so that the two pieces are flush.
It has been designed and manufactured by the world's largest nut manufacturer, saddle manufacturer, and bridge pin manufacturer, Graph Tech Guitar Labs. Our 45 day money back guarantee shows how confident we are that you will love our product.

Questions & Answers

Is it possible to implement this on a left-handed computer Can you play a mim stratocaster with one hand?

I believe this is not the right thing for you. The first option is to buy a blank nut and modify it yourself the second is to purchase GraphTech's PQL5000L0 TUSQ XL Self-Adhesive Nut. This is a lubricating slotted nut for left-handed use.

Could you tell me what the install process was like in SX Furrian or SX Strat Can you tell me how many files, etc. you have?

To put it another way, let's say this I had personally destroyed the nut underneath where the strings of the fourth, fifth, and sixth strings go when I did it myself. My fourth, fifth, and sixth strings on my guitar now have the same action as the third and second strings, so I had to glue some wire ties underneath the nut to make it up. It is better to spend the extra $50-$75 on guitars you work on on a regular basis, unless you are a professional luthier Having a pro handle the installation of that nut on your guitar would cost you an additional $100.

When can I expect the string diameter and string spacing to be available?

There are nine points on the radius. They are 5" in diameter and have the following dimensions. The following is the length of the piece The width of the window is 764 inches The height of the building is 130 feet The string 255"*br>. The following spacing is recommended Three Sixty Two"

Do you have it pre-slotted? Would you like the white color or the cream color?

This is pre-slotted, and if you visit graph tech's website, you can find out what size it is. You can buy it much more cheaply here. Just find out what size you are. As if it were unbleached bone, it is pale gold I would not describe it as white or cream in color. Stewmac is worth watching. If you listen to the difference between him dropping plastic bones and TUSQ nuts, you'll be able to hear it. While TUSQ works easier than bone, bone is a much harder material to work with. It would be better to just use a little shellac instead of glue to secure it in a slot. Glues such as superglue or globs of glue will destroy the nut slot, so consume less. You'll be able to hold it down perfectly using the string tension

Selected User Reviews For Graph Tech PQL-5010-00 TUSQ XL Self-Lubricating Guitar Nut, Fender Style, Flat Bottom

You should always make sure that you buy guitar strings that are specifically suited for the guitar you will be installing them Over the years, I have used a wide variety of nuts, but over the past few years I have been using graphite nuts on almost all of my guitars (both electric Tusk Graphtechs make my guitar's tone better than any other brand I've ever used
5/5

I've used different brands, but I now use the Tusk Graphtechs exclusively. They're slipperier, and they make my guitar sound better. A large number of people don't realize that every part of a guitar has an impact on its tone, no matter how small Now PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO WHAT I AM SAYING. In addition to making their Tusk nuts compatible with almost every guitar on the market, each one is specifically designed for it. There is a chart on their site that tells you how to find the right nut for different guitars. To ensure a good fit, do your best to find the exact one or you will have to do a lot of time-consuming fine sanding and filing. Due to Fender Strat's nine-string, I have found this to be even more true. There is a radius of 5 on a fretboard. Strat nut slots have the same radius as the slots in most guitars, which is something many people aren't aware of. more specific, MIM Strats and American Standard Strats are quite different, so neither of them will fit The nut on a Mexican Strat was replaced by me a few months ago. A similar one was bought for an American Standard and was even larger than the American Standard. As far as the nuts themselves, they are the best I've ever used and I'm going to eventually put them on all my guitars. He should return it for the correct size as sanding and filing it to fit would cost him a lot more in the long run. Graphtec offers a wide variety of guitar cables, so make sure you get the one that matches your particular instrument before you buy it.

That's great! It has a great deal of impact
5/5

I think this is a great product. It's really not that complicated to get it perfect. . . there are just a few tricks. Regardless of which one you need, you need to know whether you need a flat bottom or a rounded bottom. In addition to installing this GraphTech Tusq nut on the 2011 CXS Squier SE "Strat", I used this on my first mod project. In my case, I need a guitar with a flat bottom. In my case, I was able to visit the website and figure out which type of guitar I needed. The pre-order arrived and the pre-order was sent The nut was perfect in its slotted shape. You can sand them down easily to get the PERFECT fit if you go a little higher so you can sand them just a tad. Because I didn't know exactly how high I needed it, I just used the old one as a guideline and sanded this one down (on 100 grit sandpaper) until it matched as closely as possible. As soon as I had it installed, I was amazed at how much it improved my life. It helped me not only with tone, which was significantly improved, but also with tuning stability, as well as with an intonation issue. As soon as I installed this TUSQ nut, the intonation was a breeze to adjust. I had the saddles back almost as far as possible and was still fretting sharp at the 12th fret. I was WAY wrong about how much difference it made. I would HIGHLY recommend this mod as a simple mod for beginning modders and casual gamer alike. You should give these a try if you want GREAT tone and a nut that is nearly friction-free (because they are infused with Teflon and are self-lubricating). If you use it in conjunction with the GraphTech string trees, binding is still less likely. Almost anywhere.

Decorative nut but you'll need to sand it down to make it fit
5/5

I've bought the same graph tech nut to use on all of my Fender guitars or guitars made by other brands. In the past few years, I've implemented it on a few strats, a Player Tele, a Player Jazzmaster, a few Squiers, and a bunch of Green & Blacks. There are several legacy style guitars available, including a S500 and a Comanche. I have not been able to get a direct fit with any of them, and all require some sanding. As mentioned, the string spacing is slightly smaller than OEM fenders, but that has always been a good thing for me since I hate it whenever the high E string reaches the edge of the fender. Furthermore, you need to sand down the bottom of the nut about 1/3 of the way down in addition to the sides. As far as the most challenging part goes, not only will you have to sand the bottom center to get the same fretboard radius shape, it will also take the longest. You won't be able to move the nut left and right if this is not done, because the edges will not touch the fretboard. You just have to sand a bit more to make it look good. Also, you must be careful not to remove too much material since there is a possibility that the nut will get damaged. As long as you take the time to do everything correctly, you will eventually reap the rewards. Nuts made from OEM synthetic materials bind or ping like those made from this material. This is a great nut, but it requires a lot of maintenance. Replacing old strings is a lot like that. This process will only take a few minutes but will be worthwhile in the long run.

I love the tone and sustain of the TUSQ XL! Being old school, I never thought there would be anything better than a genuine unbleached Bull Bone I did not know what I was doing
5/5

The material was very skeptical of me when I first tried it, but I dropped it on a Solid Maple wood neck & I could hear it sound wonderful A neck and shoulder brace made of Pau Ferro My surprise was when it produced a very loud brass bell, metallic sound when I turned the This is comparable to a Bone nut and a tree nut There is an enormous difference in the resonance and the sound quality of the TUSQ XL This material is easier to work with. Ignore negative reviews from neophytes who appear not to understand there is no drop in replacement and that there is no drop in performance A luthier is repairing a guitar It is necessary to have crafting skills. If you want to really sculpt and shape If you are going to use a Nut on a guitar, you should only use extremely high-quality ones There are several types of end files and nut files Sanding a table with a radial power sander and a rotary dowel A 3,000-grit sandpaper is then used to fit, craft, and smooth the surface Remove any nuts that need to be polished. Located in the same neck slot as a vintage Stratocaster, this is very close to the vintage model. Contrary to most other forms of fitting, this one requires very little.

It's awesome that Graph Tech exists
5/5

It is always a pleasure to deal with Graph Tech. My guitars have been fitted with their nuts and I plan on using them for the foreseeable future. In addition to Squier affinity strats, this will fit other brands as well. Do not forget to measure the nut and string spacing on your guitar. You can tailor this to fit your particular guitar--you just need to make sure they're a little big. Sand the sides and the bottom of the container, so you'll need to spend a little time doing it. The customer service at Graph Tech is quite good as a worst case scenario- Their email address is on the left. If you email them, they can help you decide what products will work.
