Questions & Answers

Is there a radius on the saddle?

There is no deviation from the flat bottom. To ensure the best intonation on your guitar, the top is multi-dimensional. I like how easy it is to install and it sounds great. By sanding the bottom of the horn down to 400 grit, you can get your action exactly how you want.

Does the Seagull s6 Original fit the Seagull s6 original? Thanks so much. ?

You should be able to use the long pins if you have them.

Is this intended to be used with a Epiphone PR- Does 4ena exist?

I'm not sure how Epiphones are installed, but mine was installed on a CONN that had a 2 13/16 inch width by 1/8 inch thickness bridge saddle opening. As far as depths go, I believe they are pretty standard. There was a very small amount of sanding required to make the fit perfect. the opening of your Epiphone saddle and compare it to the above measurement.

Do you think this will fit a Hohner ?

As short as I used those on an Epiphone Masterbuilt, it was the same as the ones on Gibson, Martin, use one of the ones you have, and if it is a long one, it should work

Customers of these companies - repeat customers I really like the way it works
5/5

In the past, I used this kit on another guitar (Jasmine S34), and I was not disappointed. It was a travel guitar with fret sprout, so I used the Blisstime kit to fix it up, change the springs, lower the action and redo the nut and saddle. I also replaced the (common) plastic bridge pins with brass ones. The kit is as good as usual, and especially for the price it is a great buy. The nut and saddle needed to be sanded down a little to get the height right (typical work), and the pins needed some sanding to fit (again, typical work), but everything worked together smoothly, which helps improve the tone. guitar's nut and saddle had bone (but plastic pins) initially, but wanted to replace them, so we replaced them with new ones, which has really helped to clean up the guitar sound and it now works well. With this travel guitar, I have a great sounding instrument to take camping, and it has become a joy to play now.

The kits will continue to be purchased by me if I need another one of these in the future.

I think it's amazing for the price
5/5

It was well worth the money to purchase just the bridge pins. Both the bone nut and saddle have excellent qualities and make a noticeable impact on sound. It took a little bit of sanding to get the nut and bridge pins to fit, but that wasn't a big deal, really. The thing you should know, though, is that these things are normal. It is impossible to generalize about all guitars. When it comes to highly precise parts, the set should be purchased and then fitted by a local guitar store if you do not feel comfortable with making small adjustments yourself. You could even buy two sets for this amount and learn from the mistakes made in the beginning.

I couldn't find anything better for the price
4/5

The kit contains soft nylon saddles and nuts I purchased to replace those on my Fender FA115 guitar. It was easy to obtain the original parts for a very low price. I found that the saddle was somewhat shorter than the factory part, and the nut was broader. With the sandpaper on my surface plate, I soon got the string heights correct. The string slots in the nut were a tad too narrow, and were all straight cut, so I widened them and angled the slots for the D and G strings. As soon as I am happy with the action, I am good to go. As a matter of fact, I was really surprised to discover how much difference there is in sound. If you know what I mean, the sustain is better, and the notes sound clearer. Having said that, I am very happy with the It's only slightly too big for my bridge, but the pins are enough in diameter. In the future, I plan to sand them to fit future string changes. Their classier appearance makes them look more appealing than plastic white I agree that if you're on the fence about trying these, you should do This is a great experiment for a low price!.

The clunker is back on the road
5/5

Almost 40 years ago, I paid $75 for a 1976 CONN 6 string acoustic guitar. The guitar I played at the time was my first. As a result of the action and sound being mediocre, it sat unplayed for years before I 'restored' it by replacing the plastic nut and bridge saddle with Blisstime's bone nut and bridge saddle. The effect was amazing. I was amazed by how much better the sound is now after some slight sanding, working on the shape and fit of the new nut and saddle, installing them, and adjusting the truss rod. There is absolutely no comparison to the quality of a Martin, Eastman, or Gibson, but there is a very pleasant sound, and the action is very easy. An old friend is given a new lease of life by a simple upgrade.

I was impressed with how well it was fabricated and how quickly it arrived
5/5

This guitar made me want to keep it. In fact, the nut was almost a direct drop with it being no more than a milimeter off on either side of my Chinese acoustic but still worked as required. As for the bridge, it was a few cms too short for my Epiphone Hummingbird acoustic, but the nut was already bone, so I didn't have to worry about it. As a result of the new nut and bridge pins, the notes are much warmer and more vibrant. This is why I'm keeping it instead of giving it to a friend. It's easy to tell that this is a Chinese acoustic given how solid its bones are. There is some nice detail to the rosewood pins with abalone inlay, but they didn't replace the original one. My first attempt at getting one to fit was to sand it down, but stopped after I realized how painful it would be. When I pulled out my drill bits, I found one that was close enough in size to the new pins (6 mm if I'm not mistaken) and proceeded with the task. I feel that my order was of excellent quality, given that it requires a steady hand. However, sanding the pins down by hand is much slower.

Overall, the order was of excellent quality overall. My steel string acoustic guitar is pretty much what I need now, so I would probably buy it again if I ever need one again.

need to be worked in order to fit
4/5

A bone nut and saddle on my guitar sounds better to me, I guess You were saddled. Prior to making the change, I thought it sounded good but it doesn't sound any different to me right now. The two pieces did not require any sanding to fit on In terms of size, they matched exactly.
The bridge pins, on the other hand, were Over half of them was too wide for them to go down. To make them fit, I sanded the shafts of all six. I think it would take about a half hour to complete the task. I like these better than the old ones, which were white plastic. While the kit could be a better value, it will likely require some patience from your end as well.

The upgrade was well worth the effort
5/5

I used these on my Glary guitar to great success. For the pins, the saddle, and the nut to fit correctly and bring the action down, they all needed sanding. It was a lot of work, but I am happy with the results. The tone, depth, and clarity of the instrument were enhanced by their presence. Even though it didn't make the guitar sound like a Martin or a Taylor, the stock plastic parts that came with the guitar made it sound light years better than it had ever sounded before. Since I have both guitars in my house, one a stock guitar, the other one that I upgraded, I was able to differentiate between those two guitars. If you play them side by side, it is a night and day difference.

It looks good and works well
5/5

This is a great replacement/upgrade for an Putting the bridge and pegs back on a friend's guitar I was refinishing and replacing the In the original piece, the guitar needle was white plastic. This is a much better match for the guitar than the white plastic. It may be necessary to sand some off for them to fit properly, but most of them fit very well. A sanding job is probably needed to make the bridge smooth.
