It is important to shape the bone so that it fits the guitar you plan to use
A Yamaha FG-X was used to test the saddles The FG-550 is well suited for a TA and an APX600 The TA and APX600 both filled the saddle slot to about an eighth of an inch in each end, however, on the APX600 it did not fill the saddle slot entirely.
It probably will, but you may have to sand it to make it Bone is specifically designed for customizing your guitar, so it will fit your specific instrument. On Youtube there are very good videos in which you learn how to do it The installation is not difficult, as I did mine with no issues, despite not being an expert.

My action was too high, so I sanded the saddle down a few millimeters and brought it down. At the moment, my attitude was very conservative. The strings will be swapped again and I will sand even more off. I have left the same strings in both versions of the file to compare how before and after look. Compared to the original saddle and nut, the new saddle and nut provide a subtle and noticeable These devices are designed to improve resonance and sustained performance. They are very affordable at this price. This guitar is precisely what I was looking for and their ease of installation was fantastic.
used only one saddle and it worked fine. I sanded a couple of mm off the bottom and it turned out perfectly. I checked the intonation and it was right in the sweet spot, I thought about dropping another mm or so, but I decided against I can still play down in the thin frets easily because my action is still smooth, but I'm getting slower as I age (lazier). When I was in the Navy, I had an old acoustic guitar that I carried around with me. You can see in the picture that I didn't use the nut. Even though it still sounds great, the bridge is beginning to lift after being in and out of humid environments for so many years. I think I should change the nut when I fix.
They are great. It comes with two sets and sandpaper to fine tune the fit if necessary. There are curved ones and they're not meant for classical guitars that have flat finger boards, but they should fit well with any steel stringed guitar that has.
My acoustic guitar action was lowered after I polished the top of the saddles of these bridges to match the fretboard. I also sanded the bottom of the saddles to align them with it. After that, I took the second one and sanded it further, lowering it again. Back and forth I went, each time lowering it a little until I had the right size. It is something we should have done a long time.
Based on YouTube videos, I decided to purchase them, and I am glad I did. While they brighten the sound, be prepared to do some major sanding by hand. I wasn't able to get the two pieces to the right size on my guitar with the sandpaper provided. To do most of the work on my other guitar, I plan to use a vice grip and a belt sander.
I did not have to sand it. There's no doubt somebody with experience would have done a better job by sanding a touch, but I'm a novice and my goal was to make the process as quick and simple Guitarists can now hear their guitars better than ever This bone removes the icehack from the high end and gives the sound a smoother feel.
I used this set on my Jasmine guitar perfectly. A nice fit on the bridge, and the nut is just the right height. It is not too low so that it buzzes, nor too high that it is difficult to switch Instead of sanding, I chose not to do so. Gluing the nut yesterday prompted me to get my guitar restrung today, and it now sounds wonderful!.
I have an original saddle that is 3mm thick. A 3mm cable claimed to be an option, but in fact it is much smaller than I removed it and replaced the original after installing it into my guitar. It wiggled and slanted forward too much so I removed it and replaced it.
